- Day 1
Chiang Rai
You'll arrive in Chiang Rai and head to your hotel to check in whenever works for you. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for the place. Take it slow, grab some food, walk the streets, and just soak up the local atmosphere without any planned activities.

Chiang Rai
This morning you'll meet your guide and start at the White Temple, which has a striking modern design. From there, head to the Black House Museum to see its bold art installations. Later, you'll stop at Choui Fong Tea Plantation where you can have refreshing tea and take in the views. Finish the day at the Golden Triangle, the point where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. It's about 30 minutes from the tea plantation.

Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai
You'll leave Chiang Rai on a GreenBus for about a three hour drive to Chiang Mai. The route goes through lush landscape, so it's a pretty relaxing journey. Once you arrive, settle into your hotel and get comfortable. Chiang Mai is known for its ancient temples and mountain setting, so there's plenty to explore over the next few days.

Chiang Mai
Meet your guide and start at Wat Chet Lin with its quiet gardens and serene atmosphere. Next, you'll go to Wat Chedi Luang, a historic temple in the old city. Take a break mid-morning for local tea to recharge. After that, walk through the forested grounds of Wat Umong, which has ancient tunnels you can explore. Finish at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, located high above the city. You'll arrive around sunset time, so plan to stay for those panoramic views across Chiang Mai as the light fades.

Chiang Mai
Start the day with a cooking class. You'll first visit a local market to see traditional Thai ingredients and learn what goes into authentic dishes. Then work with expert chefs to cook and eat your own creations. This takes about 3 to 4 hours. Your afternoon is free to do what you want: book a Thai massage, lounge by the pool, or rest up before heading out. In the evening, head to the Night Bazaar for shopping, street food, and live music and entertainment.

Chiang Mai to Bangkok
Check out of your hotel and head to Chiang Mai airport for a domestic flight to Bangkok. After you land, transfer to your Bangkok hotel and get settled. The rest of the day is yours to explore at whatever pace feels right. Walk around and try street food, check out views of the skyline, or simply relax and adjust to the new city. Many travelers just head to a nearby cafe or their hotel restaurant for dinner.

- Day 7
Bangkok
Your guide will lead you through Bangkok's main cultural sites. Start at Wat Arun, and you'll have the option to wear traditional Thai costumes for photos. Move on to Wat Pho to see the famous Reclining Buddha. While there, you can also get a Thai massage if you'd like one (budget about 90 minutes for that). As the sun sets, walk through Chinatown where you can sample street food from different vendors, browse the markets, and feel the energy of the neighborhood.

Damnoen Saduak
Start early and head out to Damnoen Saduak floating market, where you'll glide along the waterways in a boat. The market itself is packed with vendors selling fresh produce, local snacks, and handmade items from their boats. You can chat with the sellers, try some authentic Thai food, and take in all the activity and color around you. After you've had enough time there, head back to your hotel to rest up for the evening.

- Day 9
Bangkok
Take your morning and afternoon in Bangkok at whatever pace works for you. If you want to relax, the hotel pool is there, or you can head out to shop at MBK Center or Chatuchak Weekend Market if you happen to be visiting on a weekend. As the evening comes around, make your way to ICONSIAM and board a dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River. You'll spend around two hours on the water, passing by illuminated temples and the city lights, then return to your hotel later in the night.

Check out of your hotel and go to Bangkok airport for your departure flight. Plan to arrive at least 3 hours before takeoff. You'll leave Thailand with memories of the temples, markets, food, and vibrant culture you've experienced over the past week.
