Asked on September 16th, 2025Could you help advise what tour options are available that focus on nature, national park, lake or the Golden Eagle Festival?
TTRMongoliaOperator•Written September 2025The itinerary includes Hustai National Park, Kharkhorin, Tsenkher, and Terkhiin White Lake. For the Eagle Festival, it will not be possible to combine both, as it takes place in the far West of Mongolia, near Olgii. To go there, you'll have to take a local flight from Ulaanbaatar.

Traveler•Written September 2025Questions: 1) Is this itinerary realistic and not rushed? 2) Could you confirm hotel and ger camp names and comfort levels? 3) Are gers heated with private toilets/showers? 4) Will helmets be provided for horse riding? 5) Is the eagle hunter visit feasible? 6) Are towels, power access, and drinking water provided? 7) Can meals accommodate dietary needs? 8) If we skip Kharkhorin Museum, would this impact route or cost?
TTRMongoliaOperator•Written September 2025Itinerary is doable. Kharkhorin will likely be Kharkhorin Hostel & Restaurant. Ger camps near Hot Springs do not have in-suite bathrooms. Gers heated with woodfire. Helmets provided for horse ride. Eagle Hunter visit uncertain in this region. Towels and power access available. Drinking water provided. Meals can accommodate dietary needs. Skipping Kharkhorin Museum has no significant impact.

Asked on November 2nd, 2024The green grass field is still visible? not covered by snow? Also not used to cold temperature, is it warm inside the mogolian ger?
TTRMongoliaOperator•Written November 2024Winter is slowly starting here in Mongolia, temperature at night in Ulaanbaatar can reach -15*C, and during the day between 0 and 5*C. It might also be colder in 2 weeks, and snow might fall. Anyway, there isn't green grass anymore, the grass is yellow and trees don't have leaves. Inside gers, it is very warm during the day, but can be a bit cold in the morning/early morning.

Traveler•Written November 2024November or May-June, which month is best to experience real Mongolian life?
TTRMongoliaOperator•Written November 2024I would recommend June, where it will be warm and all the grass green and rich. You will have a very pleasant stay and will be able to take part in all the activities of the nomadic families. Now that the winter is starting, some families move to the moutains and take their horses, goats, sheep with them.
