You are in charge of carrying and handling your own baggage during the tour.

  So the baggage thing- where are we leaving it as we hike? And we carry it in public transportation or...? The tour sounds perfect except for dragging around a suitcase. So i need a better understanding of that logistic.

  You won't need to worry about carrying your suitcase during the hikes. Your main luggage will stay safely in your hotel room, as you'll already be checked in and returning to the same hotel after your hikes. For the hikes themselves, you'll only need to bring a small daypack with the essentials you'd like to have with you.
