For this tour, we always try to select hotels located as close as possible to the train stations to make travel easy and convenient. In many cases, the station is within walking distance of the hotel, especially if you are comfortable with a short walk and light luggage. However, if you prefer not to walk or if the distance is a bit longer, transfers can certainly be arranged between the hotel and the train station. We would be happy to add these for you if needed. Once we confirm the exact hotels for your departure date, I can let you know the approximate distance to the station and whether a transfer would be recommended.

Would there be any chance to visit the Uffizi or Accademia during our stay, since they're must-sees for us?

Both the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery are closed on Mondays, so unfortunately they will not be available on October 27, 2025. We can look at adjusting the schedule to fit in a visit on a different day of your itinerary, if this is a priority for you.

When we booked we were informed are tour operator was Omega tours a Canadian company and so were were very surprised that we went with an Italian company and were the only English speaking clients this initially was daunting as we don't speak Italian.I think for some people this could be very challenging however the tour company was very good and the guide Allessandra spoke very good English and we enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers. Accomodation and food and excursions were good. It was a good introduction to Puglia but 7 days probably to short. No criticism of the Italian company as the guide was excellent but from tourradar's end feel we should have been advised it was not an English speaking tour company as I feel some people may have felt overwhelmed .Show more

The tour was overall pretty good but the hotel room in Bari was not great, you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully...
The tour was overall pretty good but the hotel room in Bari was not great, you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully because it hit the bidet, we had this in both rooms we stayed in even though I mentioned it to the hotel staff and the tour guide at the first checkout. A bit more commentary on the surroundings when driving in the bus would be good. I feel saying this is an 8 day tour is misleading as we didn’t even meet the guide on the first day and he left at 5am on the last day so no one saw him. The second day was a 2hr walking tour of Bari then free time so a 5 and a bit day tour is more accurate!! Also no welcome event so people could get to know each other. When you’re paying $8000 I question the value!!Show more

  Are you suggesting switching Day 4 and Day 5—so that Day 5, Tuesday, Oct.28th would be in Florence, and Day 4, Monday would be the Tuscany tour?

  If you start our itinerary on October 24 which is day 1, we will need to remove the Tuscany tour and replace it with a city tour including the Academia Gallery on day 5. Day 4 on October 27 is not possible to visit the museums in Florence as they will be closed as it falls on a Monday.
