Puerto Rico - Arrival
After you arrive, a transfer takes you to your hotel to get settled. From there, head to one of Puerto Rico's beaches depending on your arrival point. If you're flying into SJU, Isla Verde works well. The east coast has La Posita in Pinones, or you could go south to the fishing villages like La Guancha, La Parguera, or Boqueron. Grab lunch at a beachside spot and spend the afternoon moving between a couple beaches to get a sense of the island.

Puerto Rico - Optional Adventure Day
You get to choose how to spend this day. One option takes you to Toro Verde Adventure Park in Orocovis for zip-lining or Toro bikes with mountain views, then visit Hacienda San Pedro for a coffee education session. The other path explores the northern Karst region and Rio Camuy cave park to see the world's largest underground river and ancient pictographs, with optional rock climbing in Vega Baja. Either way, wrap up by watching the sunset from one of the island's many beaches.

Old San Juan - El Yunque
Start in Old San Juan checking out the historic castles Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Fuerte San Cristobal, then walk through the colorful cobblestone streets with their boutiques, shops, and restaurants. You'll visit cultural spots like San Juan Bautista Cathedral and Capilla del Cristo, and stop by Museo de las Americas for coffee at Cafe Don Ruiz. Later you drive to Rio Grande and head into El Yunque National Forest, the only rainforest in the U.S., where you'll see lush vegetation, hear the coqui frogs, and take in the mountain landscape.
