Please note that during Christmas, there are no major events in Oman, as it is a conservative Arab country. You may find Christmas trees in select locations, but they are not widespread. Some 5-star hotels offer special Christmas dinners, but overall, the celebrations are quite limited. For a more festive and unforgettable Christmas experience in an Arab country, I would recommend celebrating in the UAE.

Fortunately I extend alone 3 more nights in Muscat at the end. The negative points were: 1. too long answers to my questions before my decision to take prt on the program. it made me in the position of booking the flights at the last minute, increasing my costs. 2. The fact that I wasn not informed in advance that I joined a group that have already made the UAE tour before mine only on Oman. 3. The bus used was much too old with no suffisant climation at 35C.Show more
