- Hike to Dechen Phodrang Monastic School (1.5-2 hours, easy difficulty through pine forests)
- Visit Wangdi Tse Temple (founded 1750, rebuilt 2016)
- Visit Zorig Chusum (traditional arts and crafts center with 13 traditional arts and crafts)
- Stroll Craft Bazaar along main Thimphu streets
