Itinerary
- Day 1
Ulaanbaatar
You'll get picked up at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and head to your hotel. After that, the day is completely yours to rest and get comfortable following your travel.

- Day 2
Ulaanbaatar to Hustai National Park
Check out Gandan Monastery to see the 26-meter gilded statue of Megjid Janraisig, then drive to Hustai National Park where you can watch Takhi wild horses and walk through the landscape. Tonight you'll sleep in a local ger camp.

- Day 3
Karakorum and Erdene Zuu
After breakfast, you'll walk through Karakorum (Kharkhorin), the ancient capital of the Great Mongolian Empire, and visit the Museum of Karakorum. Later, head to Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, which has 108 white stupas surrounding it.

Ongi Temple
You'll drive about 290 kilometers across rolling hills and flat steppes to reach Ongi Temple in the middle Gobi. Stop along the way for photos and a break at a tourist camp. Once there, walk through the temple ruins and check out the nearby museum to learn about what happened here.

- Day 5
Bayanzag (Flaming Hills)
Head to Bayanzag, also called the Flaming Hills, to see the red rock formations and dinosaur remains from 60 million years ago. Your guide will take you through the red hillocks so you can look at dinosaur fossils and see where they walked.

- Day 6
Khongor Sand Dunes
Walk through Khongor sand dunes, Mongolia's largest and most well-known dunes. Climb to the top for views across the area, then visit a local herder's family and try camel riding on two-humped camels.

Yolyn Am (Eagle Valley)
Trek through Yolyn Am, a deep and narrow gorge in the arid Gobi, for around 3 to 4 hours. You'll see unique scenery, come across rare wildlife, and find an ice glacier deep in the valley.

Terelj National Park
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar, then head out to Terelj National Park to walk through unique landscapes and enjoy the fresh mountain air. See Turtle Rock and the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, which sits among scenic mountains and large rock formations.

- Day 9
Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and visit Genghis Khan's Statue Complex, a 40-meter high equestrian statue. Take the elevator or walk up to the platform above the horse's head for panoramic views. Check into your hotel for a short break, then have a farewell dinner at a local upscale restaurant.
