- Day 1
Arrival in Amman
You'll arrive at Amman Airport and get picked up for about a 30 minute drive to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax however you'd like.

Amman City Tour & Desert Castles
Start the morning at the Citadel to see Amman's historical core, then head to the Archaeological Museum to get context on what you'll see throughout the trip. Walk through the Souq afterward and check out the impressive Roman Theatre before lunch. In the afternoon, drive east to the Desert Castles region where you'll see Amra Castle with its zodiac dome, Qasr Kharanah fortress, and the black basalt fort at Azraq. You'll return to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Gadara & Jerash
Head north for about two hours to Gadara (Umm Qais), one of the ancient Decapolis cities where you'll get views over the Jordan Valley, Golan Heights, and the Sea of Galilee. From there, continue to Jerash to walk through one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the Middle East. You'll see the forum, the colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis before driving back to Amman for the night.

Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Dead Sea Panorama & Kerak
Travel south to Madaba and visit St. George's Church to see the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Palestine. Next, drive to Mt. Nebo where Prophet Moses looked out at the Promised Land, and tour the monastery with its valley views. Stop at Dead Sea Panorama Complex for more views and to learn at the museum, then travel along the King's Way caravan route and pause at Wadi Al-Mujib's geological formations. End your day at Kerak to see the impressive Crusader castle built in 1132/34, then head to your camp in Little Petra for dinner and overnight.

- Day 5
Monastery El Deir Hike to Petra
After an early breakfast at camp, hike through Little Petra's back roads to reach the Monastery El Deir high above the main site. From there, cross toward the Petra gorges through the Baida region, taking in views of Wadi Araba's Rift Valley along the way. You'll settle into your Petra hotel for the night.

Petra Exploration
Spend your full day exploring Petra with a guide, walking through the Siq canyon to reach the magnificent Treasury monument. Continue on to the Street of Facades, see the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle, and then you'll have free time to wander around and discover areas on your own. Stay overnight in Petra.

Wadi Rum Desert Experience
Drive 1.5 hours south to Wadi Rum, the protected desert area where you'll meet your guide and camels around 9:30am. Ride through Rum and Um Ishrin valleys toward the red sand dunes, stopping at Lawrence's spring. Check out Nabatean inscriptions at Anfashiyeh, then switch to a jeep to visit the natural rock bridges at Jebel Burdah and Um Frouth (with optional climbing available). Walk through Abu Khasheba canyon before heading to the sunset viewpoint. You'll have dinner and overnight at the Wadi Rum camp.

- Day 8
Dana Nature Reserve to Dead Sea
Travel to Dana Nature Reserve, Jordan's largest with diverse wildlife, mountains, and wadis. Start a short 2 hour hike from this Bedouin village that's been inhabited for over 400 years. Later, transfer to your Dead Sea hotel located 400 meters below sea level, the lowest point on earth. The mineral rich waters and dark mud here have been used for wellness treatments for over 2000 years.

Departure from Amman
Have breakfast and check out by noon. Your hotel will arrange a pickup from the lobby for the 1 hour drive to Amman Airport. Safe travels and goodbye (Ma'a Salamah).
