We absolutely loved the tour! Our guide Rim was funny, spoke brilliant English and was a font of knowledge - we really felt to have seen and learnt a lot about Balinese culture. The hotels we stayed in were fantastic and the lunches on our days out were in some very impressive locations. Our driver Kumis was fabulous and polite and made sure we always had plenty of water. I have only felt able to give it 4 stars though for 2, quite fundamental reasons:- - we weren’t met at the airport when we arrived in Bali. It was only because of the wonderful receptionist at the hotel we thought we were going to who took it upon himself to try and find out what had happened. After several hours and a number of phone calls, including to Australia, we were booked in the hotel and allowed, very kindly, to have a complimentary dinner by way of apology. - unfortunately we weren’t met again when we arrived at Gili Trawangan! An extremely friendly young local man tried to find out what had happened and discovered we were in a different hotel to the one listed on our itinerary. As luck would have it, he was from the new hotel (but he didn’t have our names on his list) and so paid for our transport to the new hotel. Apart from that, I can highly recommend the tour, it was a great way to see some of the country and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Show more
