    Debra

    Asked on July 17th, 2026

How would you suggest we transfer from airport to hotel as 6:30 arrival isn't likely?

    Flights / Transfers
    • Royal Irish ToursOperator•Written July 2026

if you are unable to link up with our complimentary transfer then we suggest the easiest way from Glasgow Airport to the city centre is by taxi (which will cost in the region of 35 GBP)
Many of our guests like to arrive the day before the tour in which case we can assist with a pre tour night at the same hotel you will be in for the tour and then the coach will pick you up from the hotel on the first day to take you on the panoramic tour.

  • A

    Antonio

    Asked on March 21st, 2026

Is there an opportunity when the tour is in Inverness for free time as we wish to visit a family location near Nairn. We would arrange transpirt

    Tour Details
    • Royal Irish ToursOperator•Written March 2026

On Day 3 of the tour, the group would arrive to the Inverness hotel at approximately 5:30pm. There is a group dinner together at 7:30pm. You could choose to skip the dinner and head to Nairn at that time.

On Day 4 of the tour, the group will be touring from approximately 9am to 5:30pm with visits to Dunrobin Castle, Dornoch and a whisky distillery. There is dinner again that evening as a group at 7:30pm.

There would not be free time during the day to visit Nairn, unless you were to forgo the touring on Day 4. If the visit is something that can be done in the evening, then you could forgo one of the group dinners.
