Organisation. I booked, paid for, and was confirmed on a group tour. This was important to me as an introvert I wanted to be able to participate to the level that I wanted without affecting others. It was not until I started fielding questions from the company about when I wanted to meet the guide that I discovered that I been allotted a private tour. When the company was queried there was no attempt to apologise that I was not getting what I had booked, or to explain that I would be provided service beyond that of a group tour. The tour company just didn’t seem to think that there was a problem. Imagine what it would be like to be an introvert sharing a car and meals with one other hither too unknown person? Itinerary. The itinerary was fine and ironically the private tour concept allowed amendments to be made to cater for opening times of different attractions. What was strange was the ‘set meals’ had the guide and me sharing a table after 8-hours together in a small car! Set meals suit group tours but difficult for private ones. Guide. Gabriel was the gold nugget in the tour and as a private contractor operated outside the strictures of the tour company. He is a highly experienced and sociable person with a good sense of humour and an absolutely encyclopaedic knowledge of Romania and Eastern & Central Europe. Gabriel successfully mitigated the inability of the tour company to communicate appropriately and in a timely manner. Gabriel saved the tour from my perspective.Show more

Was disappointed with meal at Bran Castle. Wine or beer was complementary but did not include a nonalcoholic option...
Was disappointed with meal at Bran Castle. Wine or beer was complementary but did not include a nonalcoholic option which is unfair. Driver was stingy with the air conditioning. He had it on but did not turn the fan on. Vans are always warmer in the back. Would have liked some free time to shop the markets at Bran. Maybe cut some of the time in Brasov so have an hour to spend at the Bran markets.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with World Synergy Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and World Synergy Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "World Synergy Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
