This is an excellent opportunity for anyone to learn more about temples around Laos and a day in the life of a monk. You will meet a monk who is currently not practising and he will thoroughly explain to you the rules of a monk, the do’s and don’t’s of a monk and as a tourist and he will show you the different ways of meditating. It is culturally so insightful and I learnt things that I’ll carry with me throughout the rest of my travels. The whole thing lasts around 2-3 hours.Show more
