The tour was good except the Forbidden City etc were closed, so we missed out on a considerable part on our Tour...
The tour was good except the Forbidden City etc were closed, so we missed out on a considerable part on our Tour Agenda. Also on return to our hotel we had to be dropped miles from our hotel due to road closures and chaos. Then we could not get a taxi to the hotel to take us to the airport. We had to pull our big cases miles up empty streets to find a taxi. Very stressful for us as we nearly missed our plane home. The city was so unorganised and in chaos due to the army taking over and not at all considerate to anyone, least of all, tourists.Show more
