The tour includes a complimentary group transfer from the hotel to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) on the final day of the tour. As this is a shared group transfer, the departure time from the hotel is scheduled by the local tour operator to coordinate with the group's flight arrangements. Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed during the tour or included in your final travel documents. If your flight departs outside the scheduled transfer times, we can certainly assist with arranging a private airport transfer for you at an additional cost, ensuring you arrive at the airport comfortably and on time.

On day 1 can we avoid the airport transfer to the hotel as we will already be in town? Are there any sale discounts coming up please?

Yes, that's absolutely fine. If you will already be in town before the tour starts, you can simply meet the group directly at the hotel on Day 1, and we can remove the airport transfer from your arrangements. Regarding discounts, we do not have any sale promotions running at the moment.

The 7 Days of Shanghai, Wuxi, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou tour is perfect if you want to explore a bit more of the historic cities around Shanghai. Well-organized tour, small groups of travelers - with us exactly 12 people, relatively close distances between individual cities. The only remark for us was the time spent visiting different types of shops. This took away from the time to freely explore the cities or from the tours of cultural institutes. Tom is a very good organizer, he manages to respond quickly to the needs of tourists, but in my opinion he should set more precise time limits when visiting shops. With that minor caveat, we highly recommend the tour.Show more

  We need to know the time of the free group transfer from the last day hotel to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) and, importantly, what time it arrives at the airport. We need to book a flight from the airport now and not on the last day of the tour.

  The complimentary group airport transfer is intended for flights departing at around 4:00 pm, and is suitable for flights within approximately 2 hours either side of 4:00 pm (roughly 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm departures). We suggest booking a flight departing at around 4:00 pm for the most suitable connection with the complimentary transfer.

  Please can you confirm the exact day and date that our tour ends and we depart the hotel on the last day to go on the free transport to the airport? The online booking says Ends in Hangzhou, China Mon, Nov 16, 2026 but the print off day by day itinerary says day 9 (15 Nov) is the departure day, a day less than the 10 day tour advertised and we paid for.
