    You'll arrive in Edinburgh and have the whole day to yourself. After lunch, you'll travel to Glasgow, which takes about 2 hours. Once there, you'll get a tour of Scotland's largest city and see St. Mungo's Cathedral from the 15th century along with the historic university and other architectural points of interest.

    You'll head through the Trossachs region with its green wooded hills until you reach Loch Lomond, Britain's largest inland loch. A boat trip on the loch gives you different angles on the Scottish landscape, including Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps. From there you'll continue toward Oban via Inveraray. Oban's known as the Gateway to the Isles and has a lively harbor worth exploring, plus McCaig's Tower overlooks some offshore islands.
