  The round trip from Zahara, especially the tour guide and driver were very good, hotels in NIzwa Al Diyar Hotel a catastrophe, rooms WITHOUT windows, several people, like in prison, also the hotel Al Falaj is not good, but for you a cheap option. No advertising for DER. BUT TOURRADAR/DER know that for sure, SHAME for both organizers. Had booked an extension at Crown Plaza Oecd Muscat, 28.12. and PAID. The price would have been Om.Real 180, was able to get a travel agency employee discount through my IATA number. Your travel confirmation was of course not accepted. Nobody knew about it, even Zahara tours did not find any payment. I was asked several times to show a voucher that I hadn't received, I was constantly asked to pay for the room and then paid for it on the spot. The hours of checking at the reception would not end. After all the disruptions and several hours of lost time, I was unable to carry out my program, IN GOOD GERMAN MY DAY 29.12.25 WAS COMPLETELY WASTED. BUT THAT DOESN'T INTEREST TOURRADAR, I DIDN'T GET AN ANSWER TO MY MAIL FROM MASKAT EITHER. MAKING MONEY IS PROBABLY THEIR MOTTO, READ YOUR MAIL I SHOULD SEND THE INVOICE. YOU WANT TO CHECK THE CASE!!!! THERE IS NO APOLOGY TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE. I CERTAINLY WON'T BE RECOMMENDING YOU, AND THE EMAILS YOU KEEP SENDING ARE VERY ANNOYING. DO YOU EVEN READ THE COMMENTS?   I was very happy that this small group (2 women, one guide, one driver) was able to complete the tour. We saw lots of great palaces and fortresses as well as free-roaming cows virtually everywhere - but of course also the omnipresent dirt to the right and left of the road. Anyone embarking on this journey must be aware that there is a lot of driving involved. But all in all, it's worth it.Show more

  Saw all the sights / activities that were included and a little more. There were no problems with the itinerary (incl finding guides etc). The first guide was a little more engaged than the second. But otherwise there is nothing to complain about. We were able to communicate well with both of them in German. The customer service before the trip always responded quickly to all questions and provided the remaining documents approx. 2.5 weeks before departure. Overall, it was a very good mix of getting to know the culture in areas where there are hardly any tourists and seeing well-known sights!Show more
