Would it be possible to depart this tour in Varna as we have visited Veliko Tarnovo

Yes, we can tailor the tour for you. As far as I understand, you would like to finish the tour with arrival in Varna/ do you need overnights there? This means 13 days total according to our program. If you would like to explore a bit more from Bulgaria, I can propose a stop in Kazanlak for instance ( between Koprivshtitsa and Burgas ).

Can I share a room with another traveler when I get there. Then I don't have to pay the supplement.

Unfortunately, we do not have daily departures and cannot propose a tour so that you can share a room with another traveller. If you are Ok to travel alone, I will be happy to tailor an itinerary for you and try to fit within a budget you plan. We can reduce the number of days or change some of the locations/ accommodations included.

I wish to travel from Qatar with my wife and son to Bulgaria and stay there for 5 days then travel to Greece and spend 5 days then return to Qatar. Kindly advise what i need to do

Please check whether you need a visa to travel to Bulgaria. If you are Quatar national, you need a visa for Bulgaria, as well as for Greece. Bulgaria is part of the Schengen agreement, so if you already have a multiple entry Schengen visa, you do not need to apply for Bulgarian one. I would advise that you call the Bulgarian embassy and check according to your status. We do not provide airplane tickets, so it is up to you to arrange them. We can tailor an itinerary for you based on your interests and budget. The tour can be both self-drive, chauffeur driven or train tour. If you choose a chauffeur driven tour, we can bring you directly to Greece (Thessaloniki) in the end of the tour of Bulgaria.

The printed guide and organisation of the final itinerary were excellent. We were glad we changed the itinerary to add a night in Kazanlak between Plovdiv and Nessebar as it was a long way to drive, and as there are many interesting sights around Kazanlak: we also visited Shipka Church and Pass which were well worth seeing as we had a bit of extra time there. Due to the long drive to get to coastal Bulgarian areas, we would have liked an extra night there, probably in Varna which suited our historical interests. Both guided tours in Sofia and Veliko Tarnovo were excellent and very informative. We appreciated the extra time spent with Sofia in Veliko Tarnovo giving us a guided tour of the Tsarevets Fortress and also sights in the town. Overall the sights in Bulgaria including historic and natural were a pleasant surprise.Show more
