We had been looking forward to visiting Oman for a while, and this tour included everything we wanted to see. Our guide and driver was Ali, who was phenomenal. He was a great driver, extremely knowledgeable and easy going with all the timings. He was great at staying in touch via whatsapp. We arrived in Oman a few days before, so on the first day Ali helped us to the new hotel, rather than from the airport. From there, the itinerary covered so much. None of the days involved too much driving, there were no early starts and there were regular stops. We got some time to ourselves in the afternoon/evenings. Our highlights were the turtle watching Ras al Jinz and Nizwa. The accommodation was a little varied, always comfy with beds and ensuites. The Ihyaa hotel in Nizwa and the safari desert camp were the most incredible. The dinners when included and breakfasts were good buffets with lots of options for everyone (including camel kebabs). We whole heartedly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see lots of Oman and learn about their culture. For practical purposes, we recommend bringing water shoes and a towel, to explore the wadis and swim; and warm layers for Jabel Shams as it gets cold in the mountains.Show more

This was genuinely the best tour we have ever been on. It was a perfect mix of sightseeing, cultural immersion, and adventure. Experiencing the desert at night and spending evenings in different parts of Oman were real highlights and made the trip feel very special and authentic. Our tour guide, Shihab, was friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable about every location we visited. If there was ever a question he could not answer immediately, he made sure to connect us with the right local people who could help. He knew everyone, which meant we often received great local deals and even had the chance to do additional adventurous activities outside the planned itinerary. What really stood out was how humble and genuine he was. He felt more like a friend than a guide, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the trip. As he runs tours out of passion rather than obligation, his enjoyment of teaching and guiding truly showed and enhanced the whole experience. The hotels were all clean, organised, and comfortable. While the Ibis hotel was quite basic, the staff were still friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food across the hotels was good, with generous buffet spreads that were filling and well organised. Overall, we only spent around AUD 500 in total outside the tour, which felt very reasonable for what we experienced.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of 15% is required to confirm your booking with MTA Destination Management Company. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
