Itinerary
- Day 1
Kandy
You'll get picked up from your hotel early and head to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can feed baby elephants and watch them bathe in the river. After grabbing lunch in Kandy, there's time to check out a gem lapidary and wood carving center. Later you'll tour the city including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, catch a cultural show before dinner, and stay overnight.

- Day 2
Sigiriya
Starting after breakfast, you'll travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dambulla Cave Temple with a stop at a spice garden along the way. The five caves here have over 2000 sq.m of painted walls and ceilings to walk through. From there, head to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th century fortress built by King Kashyapa. You'll have lunch and dinner with overnight accommodation included.

Sigiriya Village Tour
Begin with a village tour in Sigiriya, taking a bullock cart ride through countryside and out to a lake for a traditional catamaran experience. You'll visit a chena farm to see how traditional cultivation works and watch a live cooking demonstration. Then enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan lunch in a village house, and after that you'll get driven back to Colombo, Negombo, or Mount Lavinia.
