Our guides knowledge and flexibility made for an outstanding experiment on top of the good itinerary and excellent accommodation. Our traditional dinner experience was superb.
- by Amanda EastPaata was an excellent guide and made the trip great. The guaranteed start meant I didn't have to worry about last minute cancelation due to low participation. I saw everything in the itinerary and many extras. Everyone was welcoming. Wonderful trip

I was on the 20 day tour that left Baku on 15 August 2022. After a 2.5 year wait, it was very important to me that this tour went well. However, this trip did not go well and if I knew what was ahead, I would not have gone on the tour. The minimum stars I can leave is one but if I could I would leave negative stars. Why? The problems began on day 9 when one of the four tourists felt unwell, purchased a virus test kit and tested positive. Note that you do not even have to think about what happens if there is a mid-tour covid case on your tour, this is fully covered in the essential trip information (I have no issues at all with the essential trip information). However, the procedures in the essential trip were not followed and instead Intrepid invented its own tour conditions. One day 10, the tour leader without any warning and in a group situation selected 2 of the 3 remaining travellers including me for a compulsory virus test. The tour leader had no medical training. We were initially told that if we tested positive, we would be removed from the tour for 7 days irrespective of when we returned a negative test result. This meant that with 10 days left, our tour would have been over. Note that Intrepid has no right to demand a mid-tour covid test. As well, the tour information says that if you test positive, you can rejoin immediately following a negative so once again the trip information was not followed as we would have been removed for 7 days. To be ambushed in a group setting and a covid test demanded was insensitive. On a tour you rely on your trip leader 100%, so to have your trip leader turn on you and try and end your tour was hugely disappointing. I hope that you can see how distressing this event was. Fortunately, I tested negative but this whole event left a nasty taste and spoiled the trip. Worst of all though was after the trip ended, Intrepid Customer Care failed to take responsibility and came up with nonsense arguments trying to justify their right to do whatever they want on a tour including inventing new tour conditions. I never signed up or agreed to Intrepid being able to do whatever they like including inventing new mid-tour conditions that seriously disadvantage travellers. If you are considering an Intrepid tour, please understand that the stated tour conditions may not apply and Intrepid may elect to do anything at all. Be careful.
- by GrantFeringaGeorgia in a beautiful country not yet changed by tourism but I think that will happen soon. A great mix of hiking, swimming and local food. Its not a self drive destination so great to be on a tour and to have a leader that could explain about the long history of this great destination.

Levani is the most amazing and authentic travel agent u have ever met in my travel to more than 25 countries. Not once did i feel he was doing business, it was a solo trip but he made me feel and experience the country like a great friend. He’s indeed the most amazing person that i could meet in my life bcz of travel. Georgia has so much to offer, mountains, beaches, wine, bread, cheese. A complete experience every traveller longs for. I will recommend Glad Travel to everyone, just goooooo, you are one step away from a holiday of a life tome!!!
- by Vandana NirmalshethFirst trip to Georgia and traveling solo. I took the 9 nights 10 days tour of Georgia in September 2019. Levan was my tour guide. The tour is comprehensive and it offers a variety of activities and many types sightseeing places. From thousand years old Orthodox Monasteries to breathtaking mountain views. All the hotels were clean and pleasant. Georgian food and wines are out standing. Levan was always kind, responsable and flexible. He cares about pleasing his customers and did everything he could to make me feel comfortable. My experience was excellent. Georgia is a beautiful and interesting country to visit and this tour is good option to see it.

We don't ronammy go with organized tours, but given the limited time and a fact we were somewhat "off-season" made as decide to trust our planning to professionals and boy we weren't dissapointed! We absolutely loved our experience and even made good friends with our guide-driver Lasha! Thanks you so much for everything guys, we'll be back in summer for more advetures!
- by Sem De VriesWe enjoyed our tour very much, especially with our guide Lasha, who is very experienced and knowledgeable. I felt that travel times between some places were very long and some knowledge of that beforehand would have been useful, eg I would have preferred an extra night in Batumi after a long drive from the mountains. Some of the expected attractions were closed with no apologies or advanced warning from the ticket offices or alternatives eg. Sataplia cave and Svan tower museum in Mestia. However, we enjoyed visiting Georgia and want to thank everyone involved who helped to arrange our trip, especially given the pandemic situation, we were very grateful to have our holiday which was postponed from last year.

Great tour with beautiful hikes. Our tour guide, Misha, was excellent and the driver, Gocha (not sure about spelling), was great. Accommodation at Ketino's House was very comfortable and her food was to die for. Loved it!
- by Veronika CanningAbsolutely brilliant experience. Dimitri our friendly guide was fantastic, an expert on culture, hiking and all things Georgian. The tour is very well organised, Svaneti is amazingly beautiful and I had the best experience, would recommend to everyone. Thank you to TrekGeorgia!

It was a great trip; I’ve already recommended it to friends and I shall be booking with Explore again, thank you.
- by GavinThis trip had TWO guides. I couldn't find a way of adding our Georgian guide, Alex. Alex was absolutely super. She provided all the information we needed and made it always interesting. She went out of her way to make sure we all had a really memorable and enjoyable trip.

The Armenian guide was incredible but Nino the Georgian guide not as good at organization or communication. Some long travel spells on poor roads.
- by Verity DoakTwo interesting countries emerging from a troubled history, seemingly modern and European in feeling. Both were very pretty, the food was excellent and the people friendly and welcoming. Then there were the Churches - lots and lots of them! Rather a sedentary tour, could have done with some exploring on foot. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? Armenia - The scenery was wonderful, and the little Churches perched on hilltops were magical. Each day there was a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting, and the best of all was with a family in their garden near to Lake Sevan.Georgia - The drive up the Georgian Military highway was fantastic with magnificient scenery and interesting stops along the way. What a shame we arrived too late in the day to walk up from Kazbegi to Holy Trinity Chruch and had to go by jeep. The food in Georgia was also a highlight. I did a wine-tasting too - the wines were memorably good. What did you think of your group leader? Both Mery in Armenia and Eliza in Georgia were excellent guides, enthusiastic and keen to tell us about their country. Both made that extra effort, such as buying us local delicacies to try, which added to our experience and made the holiday really memorable. Do you have any advice for potential travellers? Take a swimming costume to Armenia; it is hot there and many of the hotels have swimming pools. Is there anything else you would like to add? Great travelling companions too.

Very comfortable, informative! Mr. Saba was doing their best to make sure, that we can see a lot. Mr. Levan was excellent driver. Very professional. It was a pleasure to spend time with him.
- by Alexander FeyderIt was sad that we could not go to Azerbaijan, but instead we started our tour in Batumi. This was a bonus and we enjoyed the Black sea and all the sites in Batumi. The guides did their best to accommodate us and were caring people. There was also a mistake made on our final itenery. The person that worked out the final itenery skipped one day on the programme. So we had one day to spend on our own in Tsiblisi. Consequently we had one day shorter in Armenia. Overall it was a great experience and we saw a large part of especially Georgia.
