Egypt was fabulous, amazing experience and really well scheduled, the guide was amazing going above and beyond for any question and request with a lot of knowledge regarding all the sites visited. I can't say this about Jordan that was opposite Egypt adventure. The guide barely know english.
- by Constantin LupescuWhen we decided to see Egypt and Jordan, we saw that there was an high range of prices for the Egypt and Jordan package tours. Then comparing the packages, this was definitely the cheapest and still offered everything that some other packagaes offered. So we chose it, little hesitantly because it was so cheap, thinking we'll make the best of it. Now I can't say enough about what you get for the price, it was hard to believe. The organization of the trip was phenomenal. Our tight schedule was always on time and delivered exactly what was planned for that day. The buses were new, clean and safe and the drivers were amazingly experienced. Our tour guides were very informatiive and saw that all our needs were met immediately and at anytime. Our hotels were clean, warm, and always with wonderful helpful, courteous staff. There were a couple of small issues that I thought I would point out. The Nile cruise itself was a 5 star experience, we enjoyed the agriclutural along the riverbanks, seeing the cultural cities and stops along the way and the use of the Nile for transportation, but the boat itself was not what I would call a 5 star. The boat had its own special features, built I believe in the 40's which made the craftmanship quaint and intimate with only 46 cabins. The food was probably some of the best on the tour and the entertainment was fun. The tour titled, "5 star Cruise", could be read as ambiguous, thinking that the boat is a 5 star, but it was just wonderful with its own charm and characteristics. Another issue we had with the tour were the stops at the papyrus, perfume, stone and cotton factories, which was more of a over priced sales pitch than the history of these products in Egypt and Jordan. We did learn a little of the importance of these products throughout history, but had to be persistant about not buying anything. The hotels were above our expectaions, clean, courteous and comfortable. There were a couple of times when our showers were not exactly warm showers, but looking at the water issues in these countries, we could live with that. The food was served mostly buffet, but delicious, fresh, and a good variety of food items to choose from. We strongly feel this tour offers the best value for your money which includes the best of the highlights and the most highly recommended activities in Egypt and Jordan at an amazingly affordable price. Overall, our trip was above and beyond any of our exceptations, therefore I would give this tour a 5+ star rating!

Excellent accommodation, fantastic guide and amazing locations. Only down side was long journeys but coach was comfortable and stops were plenty. Definitely recommend
- by Kim TylerThe Road to Jordan 16 day trip was wonderful. The group was wonderful. The guides were excellent, knowledgeable, very helpful and anticipated help we would need and provided it. I learned so much including that it is cold and snows in the desert!

The overall experience was good and there were no issues with the booking or the organization during the trip. Our guide Faizal was amazing. We really enjoyed the time with him. I would recommend the agency to explain maybe a little bit better how the trip is going to be developed because I found the description in the website not enough accurate. Also during the trip would be nice if the guide send all details of all the days in advance with also the extra activities and when they are going to take place. it will be easier to decide which activities to do or not.
- by Martina SangionI spent one week with Mo in Egypt. Mo was OUTSTANDING! His knowledge of the country was second to none. He is extremely passionate about the ancient history and Egypt generally. It was a great experience to explore all those great places with him listening to his stories and detail. Mo is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions. I mean any question!! His sense of humour was making us even more comfortable and our trip was definitely enhanced thanks to his jokes and smiles. He managed to organise a birthday cake for me on felucca which made my day very special!ObviouslyI am giving him extra points for that ! There are average tour guides and then there are the ones people remember forever. I will remember Mo forever.

This tour offered the best of Jordan. Petra is incredible and it was the right mix of pace for young travellers.

Jalal was an excellent tour guide. Petra was beautiful and I am grateful for his guidance. With the information given and quick responses to my questions, I was never confused.

Jordan is an extraordinary country - the history, culture and landscape make it worth the trip almost no matter what. That said, I booked to travel with a group and only found out (when I asked; info was not volunteered) right beforehand that I would be traveling alone. This was a surprise and not my choice but there was nothing to do at that point. I had one wonderful driver - Mohamed - throughout the trip and that was great. The hotels were good/ fine, not great. There were guides on only two half days and both were engaged by the historical site (e.g. my guide worked for the entity operating the park at Petra), they were not private guides or guides employed by the tour company. Long story short, know your expectations, read the fine print, and ask questions long in advance. Know what's important to you: Is the hotel in a central location? Are there restaurants within walking distance? How much time is spent with and without the guide? What are the amenities in the hotels? How many people will you be traveling with or will they operate the trip if it's only one or two people? Nothing was misstated to me or concealed, I just didn't know to ask and had some challenges as a result. The company was fine in their communication with me though when I asked four days in advance to be moved to a more central location for my final night I was told that wasn't possible.

Saw all the highlights of Jordan: we hiked Petra, snorkelled the Red Sea, floated on the Dead Sea. My favourite memory is the bonfire to heat tea at sunset in Wadi Rum. The tour was well organized and well paced. Good value.

Great tour, but a lot of driving to see the amazing sites in Jordan. Hotel staff were nice but one hotel did not have working hot water. Another hotel had a broken elevator. Petra is so amazing it would be worth having a second day to explore more thoroughly.
- by Ross NadeauJordan was my 63rd Country and I can honestly say it was my biggest surprise. Our guide, Amer was exceptional. He treated us like family. Every moment was better than I imagined it would be. From the warmth and kindness of the people, to the ancient culture, the food, the history, the desert, Petra, Jerash, the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea was out of this world. I have a great love for this Country and would recommend this trip to anyone, of any culture or background.

We booked an 8 day tour « unforgettable Jordan » through TOURRADAR. EUROPAMUNDO was acting non-professionaly from the very beginning of the tour booking. First, it took them more than a week to confirm the booking. Then, I wasted days sending messages, asking questions without receiveing responses. Two days before the tour we still did not have details about where to meet the group/the tour guide. We only received them after contacting directly TOURRADAR. For the additional pre-tour night accomodation EUROPAMUNDO requested 120euros per person per night. We refused this accomodation and booked a night in the same hotel for 65 euros per room per night. Despite the tour agreement EUROPAMUNDO was refusing to provide transfer from the airport to the hotel on the pretext we were arriving a day earlier. The real reason was we did not agree to be ripped off with 240 euros accomodation. Again, we had to call directly TOURRADAR to get the tranfer. On site, the tour started in full chaos. The group was separated in different hotels, and time was wasted to collect everybody. EUROPAMUNDO provided one bus for two different groups – one English speaking, the other – Spanish speaking. Only on the fourth day, after mass protests and phone calls we had separate buses. The itinerary has been modified several times – we never visited LOT’S CAVE and SHOBAK ; we went to Wadi Rum first and to Petra the next day, thus spending additional 6 hours travelling back and forth. The 4x4 vehicle used in Wadi Rum was in a deplorable state - we were lucky that nobody got hurt while getting in-out the car, as there was no step and we had to jump to the ground. I don’t want to comment on the very poor performance of our tour guide.
- by Evtimia DimitrovaThe tour allowed us to get to know the main places in Jordan and have a complete vision of the country. To get to Lot's Cave, the guide suggested doing it with a car, but when getting off it, we had to climb more than 200 steps on foot, of which the guide did not know because he had never been there and it is an important fact to mention for those with reduced mobility. In Betania we spent more than 40 minutes in a souvenir shop but later on the Jordan River the guide said that we didn't have time to see the Orthodox church. We were able to enter at the insistence of the group. We were not told that we could dive into the Jordan River to bring towels and change clothes, other tourists did. The visit to Jerash was very interesting and surprising for the conservation of the ruins. In the Wadi Rum camp it would have been enough to prepare a handbag. This would have avoided loading and unloading the suitcases of all passengers, speeding up the transfer. The camel ride was 45 minutes according to the itinerary but only of 15 according to the guide. Given the claim of several passengers with the agency, it was carried out as indicated. In the Dead Sea, a brief explanation of how to apply the mud to take advantage of its properties would have been good. Excellent Holiday Inn hotel on the Dead Sea.

The trip was great, secure, and transfers were always on time. Hannah, our travel coordinator was great overall despite it was her first WeRoad trip as organiser. Having a group of people from different nationalities (Italy, Spain, Portugal, and England) may have been challenging due to people’s characters but I think everyone was laid back and happy to go with the flow. The activities in Wadi Rum were great (camels ride, landscapes, night with the Bedouin, and watching the stars.
- by JudI traveled to Jordan with WeRoad and had an amazing time. Our tour leader, Lewis, was great at organizing the group and making everyone feel comfortable. The day in the desert, swimming in the Dead Sea, and visiting Petra were my favorites. The desert was especially memorable.
