We’re really pleased that visiting Kyrgyzstan and attending the Games were memorable parts of your trip. It’s such a special country, and we’re also glad you felt the tour brought some benefit to the local people and communities along the way. We appreciate that you were hoping for a busier, more action-packed programme. In Kyrgyzstan’s rural areas, we deliberately avoid packing every day with organised activities. We want travellers to have time to explore at their own pace, relax and simply enjoy the incredible landscapes and slower rhythm of life. We completely understand that this style of travel won’t suit everyone, though, and your feedback shows that we need to make the pace of the itinerary clearer before people book. Kyrgyzstan is also a vast and mountainous country, so some long transfers are unavoidable when travelling between its remote regions. We’ll take another look at how clearly these journey times are explained in the itinerary, so future travellers know what to expect. We’ve also taken your comments about the day-to-day organisation and hotel seriously and will discuss them with our local team as we review future trips.
