TourRadar Wants to Send One Woman on Her First Solo Travel Experience for Free

In celebration of International Women’s Day, TourRadar will give away $2,000 worth of travel credits to one lucky woman looking to travel solo for the first time.

TourRadar is the world's largest online travel marketplace for multi-day tours and its purpose is to connect people to meaningful, life-enriching travel experiences. To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, the company wants to send one lucky woman on one of those life-changing experiences for free. The company will give away $2,000 USD worth of travel credits to an individual that identifies as a woman to embark on a solo adventure of her choice. Solo travel can seem intimidating, especially for those who are looking to try it for the first time. A recent study of over 21,000 travelers found that over 48% of respondents said safety was their biggest concern when deciding whether to travel alone.

“One of the easiest and safest ways to kick off the journey as a new female solo traveler is to book a multi-day tour,” said Iris Serbanescu, Director of Partnerships for TourRadar. “Platforms like TourRadar connect travelers to experienced guides that speak the local language and whose job it is to ensure they’re having an amazing experience while staying safe. We hope this campaign will inspire more women to take the plunge and try solo travel for the first time.”
