We were surprised to read your comments, as they stand in stark contrast to the itinerary provided for **The Big Texan Adventure** and the high level of personal service our team provided throughout the trip. To ensure clarity for future guests, it is important to distinguish that this is a professionally escorted tour, not a walking guided tour. Our Tour Manager and Driver provide door-to-door service and context during transit. Specifically, as you were a solo traveler with disabilities, our team took extra care to ensure you were never left to your own devices unless you wanted to be; you were consistently invited to dine with the Tour Manager and Driver, and they personally assisted you in navigating various areas to ensure your comfort and safety. We would like to clarify the following regarding the tour’s value and itinerary: The Itinerary: While we understand Southfork Ranch was your primary motivation for booking, this five-city tour included significant landmarks such as the Houston Space Center, The Alamo, the San Antonio Riverwalk and Missions, the Texas State Capitol, the Texas Ranger Museum, the 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, and the Fort Worth Stockyards. The "Saloon" Experience: The $15 fee you mentioned was for admission to The Broken Spoke, one of the most legendary and historic dance halls in Texas. This fee covers live music and the opportunity to experience authentic Texas Two-Step culture. Dining: We take pride in our culinary selections. While lunch stops are chosen for efficiency between cities, our evening meals included quality sit-down dining at a Longhorn Steakhouse, Tolbert’s in Grapevine, and Rock & Brews. Curated Stops: Our staff remained available to you at every highlight, from the Willie Nelson Statue and 6th Street in Austin to Sundance Square in Fort Worth and Historic Main Street in Grapevine. We regret that our model of an escorted tour did not meet your expectations, despite the personalized assistance provided to accommodate your needs. Our tours are designed to be escorted rather than guided, with our tour leader focusing on ensuring smooth logistics and a comfortable experience rather than providing in-depth commentary at each site. Many of our guests enjoy this balance of structured activities and independent exploration, but we understand that preferences can vary. Regarding meals, we aim to offer a variety of dining experiences that accommodate different tastes while keeping the itinerary efficient. We also appreciate that the group atmosphere, including music and conversation, plays a role in the experience, and we regret if this aspect was not to your preference. While we strive to be as accommodating as possible, we also need to consider the comfort and enjoyment of the entire group. We bent over backwards to do everything we could to ensure you had a smooth and enjoyable experience, even adding complimentary airport transfers as an extra courtesy, despite them not being part of the tour package. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, your personal demands often conflicted with the needs of the group, creating tension for other guests and making aspects of the journey more challenging than they needed to be. Following the completion of the tour, we received a report from the tour manager, as we do with every trip, and we were informed that several guests had raised concerns about your behavior, which negatively impacted their enjoyment of the experience. We truly appreciate your insights and will take them into consideration as we continue refining our tours. We hope you find future travel experiences that better align with your personal preferences. Thank you very much for your review, we are glad that you enjoyed yourself - seeing the six state capitals of New England in a week is no mean feat! We were however sorry to read of your disappointment that only two group meals and breakfast were included, but this was clearly stated in the tour inclusions as was the fact that we operate music themed tours "because you're on a Travelling Time music themed tour, the best music venues in New England are never far away" Our Notably New England tour was fast paced to allow our guests to visit all six States in the allotted time. However, to make sure more time in spent in each area as you suggested, we will be making this a 10-12 day tour in future. Thank you for your feedback.
