Ship Overview

MV Villa is a former research vessel tastefully converted into a comfortable expedition vessel for 12 guests. Villa is the ideal platform for exploring Svalbard. Her fast speed means she can access far away places and guests can see more on a 10 day voyage than on smaller vessels. Her ice strengthened hull allows her to explore the sea ice to the north of Svalbard, a place few go. Accompanied by 2 guides she delivers outstanding experiences for photographers and guests on every voyage.

  • Fast hull speed – she covers greater distances so you see more
  • Ice strengthened hull – capable of cruising in pack ice (something most ships can’t do)
  • Room for all guests in Zodiacs – No waiting time to go ashore
  • Takes just 12 guests – Intimate experience with the natural environment
  • Large stable decks – Ideal for photography
  • Newly refurbished cabins – Offers good comfort levels
  • Open Bridge – Enjoy the views from the best place on board
  • Authentic Expedition Experience – Only possible on a small ship
