This is our home, and it’s what we love to do
Rove is the culmination of decades of experience gained by Co-Founders Holly Richter and Struan Robertson. Holly was previously responsible for developing the Asian adventure divisions at both Backroads and EXO Travel, and has been working in Asia since 2005. Struan was equally responsible for building up Asia’s adventure travel industry over the last 13 years, establishing cycling tour operator, SpiceRoads, as one of the leading professional cycling operators in over 30 countries worldwide. Having developed cycling, trekking and a variety of water-based operations across the Asian continent for such a length of time, it became clear that the adventure travel segment was due a fresh lease of life.

We built Rove for people like us
Travellers these days are seeking a much greater level of freedom and are aspiring to explore unseen areas and engage with the locals much like in travel’s golden era. Only nowadays, a bit more comfort is preferred. Combining these elements and delivering a truly multi-cultural adventure has been integral to designing our journeys. Inclusion and diversity has also been at the heart of our development and our small group tours enable travellers to meet other likeminded spirits from right across the world. We do not separate our groups by nationality and we are taking an industry leading approach to the solo travel experience by not charging supplements for single travellers. We believe strongly that everyone should be enabled to travel and to explore our world.
