TourRadar Gives Every Travel Creator One Link to Earn From. Shareable Profiles Replace Promo Codes for RISE Ambassadors.
New Shareable Profiles feature gives RISE Ambassadors a public, attributed profile at tr.tours/{handle} — automatically tracking commission from every first-click booking within 90 days, with no promo code required.
Vienna, Austria, 23 March 2026 — The way travel creators earn commission is changing. Promo codes — which require customers to manually enter a code at checkout — have long been the standard for affiliate travel earning. But the model has a fundamental flaw: when a code is forgotten, commission is lost..
TourRadar, the world's largest multi-day tour marketplace, is addressing this directly with the launch of Shareable Profiles — a public, attributed profile that gives every RISE Ambassador a single short link: tr.tours/{handle}. When someone clicks that link and books any tour within 90 days, commission is attributed automatically. No code entry required.
The feature is live today for all RISE Ambassadors, with promo code attribution ending on 23 April 2026.
Why it matters
The promo code model worked in a world where creators had a smaller, highly engaged audience and could coach every follower through checkout. That world has changed. Creators now post to thousands of people across platforms, and the expectation that a viewer will remember — and correctly enter — a code days or weeks after watching a video is increasingly unrealistic.
Travellers already trust creators. What was missing was infrastructure to capture that trust reliably at the point of conversion.
What Shareable Profiles include
A completed TourRadar profile brings a creator's travel credibility together in one place:
• Social links — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website
• Places you've been — every country explored, pulled from completed tours
• TourRadar Moments — walkthroughs, videos and photos from real trips
• Verified reviews — real feedback from tours completed on the platform
Profiles become shareable once three fields are completed: a username (which sets the tr.tours/{handle} link), a short bio, and at least one social media link.
TourRadar's internal data supports the value of creator-led trust:
• Tours with Moments (short-form video from real trips) convert 29% higher than tours without
• 85% of bookings occur on tours that carry at least one verified traveler review
• Mobile app users who view two or more Moments are twice as likely to book
A personalised $50 welcome for every new visitor
When a first-time visitor arrives via a profile link, they are automatically shown a personalised sign-up modal that credits the Ambassador by name and offers $50 off their first TourRadar booking. The offer is exclusive to that Ambassador's audience and requires no setup — it triggers automatically for new visitors only.
If a visitor already has a TourRadar account, they won't see the modal — but any unused promo code at their account is automatically applied at checkout.
How attribution works
TourRadar functions as a third-party tracking layer across 2,500+ operators — which means every booking that flows through a creator's link gets attributed to them, regardless of which tour or operator it lands on. Click attribution runs for 90 days, no promo code required, and it doesn't matter if someone books the exact tour shared or discovers something else entirely on the platform — if they clicked the link first, it's yours.
Share any TourRadar link — a tour, a destination, a category page — and everything is tracked in one place through the RISE partner portal.
From the CEO
“Travel creators have always been one of the most effective ways to reach new travelers. They bring real experience, real content, and real trust. What they’ve been missing is the infrastructure to turn that trust into reliable income. Shareable Profiles are designed to close that gap. One link, automatic attribution, and a compelling offer for their audience. That’s the model that works at scale.”
— Travis Pittman, Co-founder and CEO, TourRadar
