TourRadar’s Sama Abdi and Melissa Lopez Named Finalists in 16th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

TourRadar is pleased to announce that two of its employees, Sama Abdi and Melissa Lopez, were named finalists for the Employee of the Year category in the 16th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Both Abdi and Lopez will ultimately be announced as a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award winner during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Friday, November 15th. The event will be broadcast on Livestream.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor exceptional women for their indispensable leadership and outstanding achievements in business over the past year. More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories. Finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 150 business professionals around the world, working on seven juries. Melissa Lopez
Melissa Lopez is the backbone of TourRadar’s Sales and Support team in North America. As the Assistant Team Lead of the largest customer-facing department in the company, Melissa’s been on an explosive growth path that mirrors the exponential growth of TourRadar itself. With her passion for connecting people to life-enriching travel experiences, she quickly rose through the ranks as a senior agent to acting team leader as the team grew to 35 people in under a year. Melissa is a rising star within the industry and a perfect example of what it means to be a team player.
