Originally the tours goes to Lhasa for the last days, but this was not possible. The visas take longer than an afternoon now and the price for the direct flight trippled. So instead we spent the last week in Nepal, Kathmandu and Chitwan. Over all the tour was well organized, the guides where good and the cars well kept. I would recommend to upgrade to 4 star hotels in India, because some of the 3 star hotels we had were really not good. The tour operator is always reachable in the person of Amit, who is very nice and helpful.

Awesome trip across Indochina and incredibly well-coordinated! Tour agent was very responsive, and many guides were as entertaining as they were informative. We trekked through 4 countries on foot, by plane, boat, bike, golf cart and bus. Activities were fun and options were present for both the more outdoorsy type and the less athletically inclined. The views were beautiful and the food was utterly delicious everywhere we went. There's also definitely enough free time in the evenings and on travel days, and the guides are able to give suggestions on places to visit once the itinerary for the day are complete. I have no regrets booking this tour and made some unforgettable memories along the way. Highly recommended!

Best tour companies for Asia tours
Based on customer feedback, Prestigo Asia and Bravo Indochina Tours consistently deliver quality experiences across Southeast Asia. TourRadar travelers particularly mention their guides - Dat from Prestigo gets regular shout-outs for his local knowledge, while Sandra at Bravo Indochina receives praise for making cultural connections feel authentic and personal. The accommodations chosen by both companies hit the right notes, with travelers appreciating the comfortable rooms, convenient locations and also thoughtful touches. Their itineraries flow well, giving you enough time to properly explore each spot without feeling rushed. On the flip side, Hoi An Express has some work to do on their tour organization. While their airport pickup service runs smoothly, several TourRadar customers point out issues with unclear daily schedules and guides who could be more engaging in certain regions. This feedback mainly applies to their cultural tours, though their transportation services generally get good marks. What really sets Prestigo and Bravo apart is how they handle the small details - from restaurant recommendations to helping with local customs and also unexpected schedule changes. The guides' personal connections in each destination add layers of insight you simply wouldn't get otherwise.
Best places to start your Asia tour
Bangkok serves as the main jumping-off point for Asian adventures with 25 different tours starting there, while Hanoi follows with 16 departures and Tel Aviv comes in third with 10. Siem Reap and also Bishkek round out the main starting cities with 9 and 8 departures. Most people book about 147 days ahead - that's roughly 5 months - which makes sense since the popular tours fill up fast, especially those including Halong Bay and Angkor Wat. Our first-time visitors often mix temple visits with hands-on activities like cooking classes and craft workshops, which gives them a much better feel for local life. A two-week trip seems to hit the sweet spot - it gives you enough time for guided activities plus those evenings when you want to explore night markets or find hidden temples on your own.

Best time to visit Asia
- Winter 2025 / 2026
Winter tours from November through March really shine in Southeast Asia with cooler temps and less rain. Our TourRadar travelers can explore Angkor Wat at first light, cruise through Halong Bay's limestone formations and wander along Hoi An's lantern-filled streets. The winter homestays in rural villages are something special - you'll share traditional meals with local families and learn about daily life firsthand. Early morning market visits let you watch monks collecting alms in Luang Prabang's misty streets and try hot bowls of pho in Hanoi's Old Quarter without the summer heat.

- Spring 2026
Spring brings perfect weather for outdoor activities across Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and also Laos. The 21-day cultural routes give you proper time in each spot - our customers love having four full nights in Luang Prabang to really get to know the temples, plus multiple village visits around Siem Reap. You'll cycle through the Mekong Delta waterways, join local cooking classes and trek to hidden waterfalls near Chiang Mai. The weather's ideal for overnight Halong Bay trips where you can kayak through caves and swim in quiet coves between those massive karst formations.

- Summer 2026
Summer tours adapt to the heat with early temple visits, then island and beach time in Thailand and Vietnam. Our travelers start with cool morning bike rides through villages, followed by afternoon cooking sessions learning to make spring rolls, green curry and traditional noodles. You'll visit ethical elephant sanctuaries in Thailand, explore floating markets in the Mekong Delta and work alongside local artisans making lanterns in Hoi An. When evening comes, the tours head to night markets, street food spots and river cruises at sunset.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall tours from September through November catch Central Asia at its best, with our 23-day routes covering ancient Silk Road cities like Khiva, Bukhara and also Samarkand. Our TourRadar travelers tell us they love mixing UNESCO sites with real local experiences - sleeping in traditional yurt camps, learning felt-making from Kyrgyz families and watching master craftsmen at work in centuries-old workshops. You can still reach the mountain passes this time of year to visit high-altitude spots like Iskanderkul lake with clear views all around. The evenings get interesting too - you'll join local families for plov cooking demos and camp near the famous flaming Darvaza crater.
