This trip was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. The hiking was a perfect match for the level of fitness and the level of challenge that I was looking for and I was blown away by the experience and quality of our guide Jasmin who looked after us for the week. The Dolomites were absolutely stunning and it was so great to have a local guide who could share her wealth of knowledge and give us lot's of insights into the history and local environment. The accommodation, food and care from the hotel owner and staff was also brilliant and could not fault anything about this trip and experience. I will be highly recommending this trip to others.
Hiking in the DolomitesI got to see a lot on this tour, which was great, however calling it a six day tour is a push and the amount of locations feel slightly crammed in as there are only 4 days of visits with 5 nights in a hotel. The guide provided limitless information and was very knowledgeable but there was no personal connection due to the size of the group, there were more than 40 of us. However I am realistic to know that this was a budget trip and as such there are certain compromises to be made. Overall I'd recommend the tour to people that are travelling on a fixed budget. Sicily was memorable and that's the important thing.
