The trip was amazing! The transportation was well communicated and organized. If I had any rather urgent questions regarding transportation, Tour Radar seemed to always be available online. The hotels were good to fantastic. I specifically enjoyed the hotel in Thailand. The three star hotels were so-so with the Vietnam hotel a little run down. The tour operators were good, but lacked a good command of the English language. Overall, I would say everything was “good” to “excellent”.

Central Asia 16 days Start in BishkekWe organised a custom 18 day Central Asia tour with Steppe Journeys. Overall, we had a great time! The local guides and drivers were all very good, particularly our guides in Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. We also found the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well located throughout the trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation, some of the hotels also had very unique charming character (such as a converted 1800s Madrasa in Khiva). If we were to change anything about the trip, it would be some elements of the itinerary - for the custom trip, we were hoping to have some more opportunities for hiking in Kyrgysztan, and we would have preferred to bypass Shahrisabz for an extra day in Turkmenistan however these were all matters of personal preference and overall we felt the trip covered everything we wanted to see
