We have just finished an incredible 11-day tour of Sri Lanka with Mango Vacations, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our wonderful guide and driver, Pavi. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, Pavi was calm, caring, attentive and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, happy and making the most of every day. His passion for Sri Lanka is infectious. We loved learning about the country’s history, culture and traditions, and his local knowledge, recommendations and personal connections allowed us to experience places and moments we never would have discovered on our own. Every day felt authentic, well planned and full of memorable experiences. Pavi created such a warm, positive and fun atmosphere throughout the trip that it felt like we were travelling with a friend rather than a tour guide. His kindness and thoughtfulness were especially appreciated during Sri Lanka’s many steps, climbs and hikes. He was always there to offer a helping hand, patiently ensuring everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. We also felt completely safe throughout our journey thanks to his excellent driving. Navigating Sri Lanka’s busy roads is no easy task, but Pavi’s confidence, experience and professionalism meant we could simply relax and enjoy the scenery. His communication was always clear, informative and reassuring, making our entire trip completely stress-free. A special mention also goes to the food recommendations! We absolutely loved experiencing Sri Lankan cuisine and now completely understand why Pavi could happily eat dhal curry every day! More than just an outstanding guide, Pavi became a wonderful companion during our journey. His professionalism, generosity, warmth and genuine care made this holiday truly unforgettable. Thanks to him, we will always look back on our time in Sri Lanka with such fond memories. The communication with tour radar was excellent. The driver and guide were excellent. They were very punctual and informative. They were able to modify things as needed. My feedback is that when I was planning the trip at the beginning stages there were a few activities that I would’ve liked to have had to a radar book for example, bike riding with a reputable tour company and night walk night Safari that is offered by many companies like GetYourGuide Viator. It would’ve been good if to a radar would’ve booked a couple of those for us overall I’d highly recommend tour radar and Acme Tours thank you Shan and Jaya and Gamo for making our trip extremely special.

Everything went smooth, well organised and a good driver. Note that this is not a dedicated nature tour with focus on finding birds and wildlife. The Parks visited are very similar, with best being Wilpattu. Yala was too crowded leading to that you inhaled much diesel fumes. Madu river boat safari was a big big disappointment. It was not focused on nature apart from the purple-face leaf monkey. The other "stops" along the safari was to pay to see a crocodile, to pay to see cinnamom preparation, to pay to have your feet chewed on by fish, to pay to have a coffe break. The Mangrove focus was a short 5 m "trip into the Mangrove". Basically it was a boat tour on a lake
