We did a 10-day tour of Japan with One Life Adventures. It was pretty good value for the very low price point (expect cost-effective accommodations and public transit). But the tour really came together because of our stellar tour guide, Anna. She was extremely knowledgeable about how to get around each of the cities we visited and always had lists of excellent recommendations for additional activities we could do in our free time. She expertly adjusted the tour schedule to accommodate diverse interests and keep everything on track and brought positive energy and an air of competence to every interaction. Every day was a new and interesting experience. Highly recommend.
