I felt the tour guide/driver was excellent and made our travel experience both educational and enjoyable. Also enjoyed interaction with the other travelers in our van. Overall, I thought the tour was very good. I was not impressed with the lunches and thought that there could be a better way for lunches to be presented. I do think that the additional costs could have been addressed in the initial sign up for the tour rather than carrying around a lot of cash to pay for them while on the tour. Too much cash to carry around. Nevertheless, I'm very glad that we took the tour with this company.
7 day Southwest National Parks Grand Canyon TourWe were fortunate to have Claire Kredens as our driver guide. She is a gifted leader and could cope with ant situation. Such a tour is useful to learn which cities you might like to re-visit because our time in each is very short. Four and five hour drives every other day is exhausting and maybe the number of places visited could be edited downward. On the whole, I enjoyed the trip altho the age range 15-99 is unwise. 15-80 would be much more realistic.
Georgia History Trail to NashvilleI joined the Bindlestiff 7‑Day Southwest Highlights tour as a hotel guest, and I wasn’t sure how it would feel with both campers and hotel guests in the group. Spencer balanced everything so naturally that the whole week felt easy, welcoming, and surprisingly meaningful. His calm organization — driving, planning, meals, and hotel logistics — made each day unfold smoothly. Knowing he’s completed the Pacific Crest Trail, one of the Mexico‑to‑Canada thru‑hikes, gave me real confidence. His connection to these landscapes is lived, and you can feel that in the way he shares them. The parks were breathtaking, but what stayed with me was the thoughtful pace, the care he brought to the experience, and those quiet moments that made me pause and breathe in the vastness around me. It was restorative in a way I didn’t expect. If you’re considering this trip, go. You’ll carry the feeling of it long after you’re home.
