We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Greece and the islands. everything happened exactly on time and was well explained to us. The hotels were generally good with the exception of one that was quite far away from anything and required a 15+ minute bus ride to get any options. We really like the selection of the islands with Chiro‘s being a quieter, more laid-back Island, Mykonos and Santorini classic Greek islands with such beauty and wonderful hotels, and Crete with our hotel right on the beach. All the fairies worked out very well as did the flight back to Athens. I would highly recommend this tour/semi tour as you are left on your own to enjoy Greece as you want.

Cultural Athens & Island Hopping Mykonos - Santorini (Self-guided)Overall, our experience was wonderful. There were a few areas where communication and some of the logistics could have been clearer, but those were relatively minor compared with how much we enjoyed the tour as a whole. The tour itself was excellent, and the accommodations throughout the trip were very good. You get to see a lot of the Greek countryside, with some absolutely beautiful drives between destinations. It was a great way to experience parts of Greece that we probably would not have seen traveling on our own. Our guide was wonderful—knowledgeable, engaging, and really helped bring the history of each location to life. Our driver was excellent as well, and the bus was comfortable, which is important because you do spend a fair amount of time traveling between destinations. The included meals were also very well done and exceeded our expectations. This is definitely a very educational tour. If you are interested in Greek history, archaeology, and understanding more about the country beyond just Athens and the islands, this tour gives you a great experience. We came away feeling like we had seen and learned a tremendous amount in a relatively short period of time. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend the tour.
