Budget Tours to Greece Reviews
Our tour guide for Meteora, George, was exceptional, knowledgeable and even philosophical. Meteora was stunningly beautiful. Our day trip guide in Athens was excellent too. Our excursion in Santorini was terrific! We enjoyed the boat, the views, the islands and jumping into the Aegean. All of our hotels were top notch. There were two downsides. One was only having 20 minutes for breakfasts in Athens because our tours started at 7:30 & breakfast opened at 7:00. Then we sat on the bus for an hour and a half while we collected other passengers. The other downside was the evening excursion of viewing the acropolis at night and a dinner with a traditional dance show. This involved a two hour bus ride, a surly guide, a venue that was extremely overcrowded, bad food, and a not at all entertaining show. Plus they ran out of wine. But as a whole I would totally recommend this tour but without the evening excursion.

I was very pleased overall with Tourradar. I usually personally plan all aspects of our vacations. It was so well planned, each person was so nice, kind, and helpful in many ways!! A few gave me their phone number if I had any questions. The hotels, especially on the islands, were great!! I appreciated that we were always at the same hotel in Athens, 3 different times. That's was helpful as well. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. Not having to worry about setting up transfers from one place to the next, setting up tours and guides. It was truly a wonderful experience!! My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our amazing time in Greece. I would definitely use Tourradar again and recommend them!!
