We had an absolutely fantastic private tour with PicTours of Greece. George takes incredible pride in his work – he has a passion for Greece and it’s contagious! What a gorgeous and hospitable country! The itinerary was extremely well crafted. Much of the trip was off the beaten path, and thus most places were not full of tourists. He personally vetted all the accommodations and the restaurants. His passion for Greece extends to his love of food. My husband and I couldn’t decide if this was a tour of sites with incredible meals or a food tour with incredible sites. At every meal, he would speak with the waiter/owner and select what dishes were freshest that day. He loved introducing us to new foods and has incredible knowledge about the cuisine. I am a total foodie, so this was awesome! Our tour guide, Kelli, was terrific and so personable. Honestly we all felt like friends by the end of the trip. In addition, George is a careful driver, a real plus when driving on the winding mountain roads. The van was spotless. And he was always punctual (usually early). We are frequent travelers, and this trip was one of the best we have taken!
