This was a fun trip but be ready for full days with lots of walking. The tour manager Valeria and driver Oscar did excellent jobs getting everyone where they need to be and filling us in about the areas we were visiting. Valeria was very helpful in answering questions as well. It covered a lot of ground and the stops along the way were all top notch! The main reason for 4 star instead of 5 is that a few of the tours felt a little rushed, especially the one in Toledo. I think the individual tour guides at each stop did great jobs (sorry I don’t remember every name!) I just think there was enough time allowed. If I had the chance to do again I would and I still recommend this trip!

We had a great time on our trip , the Driver Ernesto of the Bus was very good, we felt save! The Guide Ines was ok, we had a hard time to understand her English. 90% off the Hotels and the food was good. We would do it again ! Thank you Ingrid and Ron

Best time to visit Spain
- Summer 2026
Spain's top summer tours smartly balance cultural highlights with heat-friendly timing. Starting in Madrid, evening walks under lit streets create atmosphere before the journey continues through Extremadura's ancient towns. Having two nights in most places works well, with morning walks catching cooler hours and free time for personal exploration later. Many travelers choose premium packages in summer, especially for those centrally-located hotels that make city exploring easier. Through Andalusia's main stops - Cordoba, Seville, and also Granada - carefully planned early starts help beat crowds at major sites like the Alhambra, which our customers point out as particularly valuable during peak season. The bilingual guides handle mixed groups skillfully in busy periods, though English speakers sometimes mention varying translation quality. Tours typically end in Barcelona, where perfect conditions await for Gaudi discoveries, with specific slots for Park Güell visits and Montjuic viewpoints as temperatures drop. These journeys span 7-10 days with about 40 fellow travelers, balancing guided excursions and independent moments that let you slip into cool tapas bars between sights.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall brings ideal conditions for our wine-focused northern routes, particularly the 8-day journeys starting in Barcelona or Bilbao. These tours combine cultural highlights with visits to renowned wine regions like Rioja, where you'll explore medieval Laguardia and its underground cellars. Our travelers love how these routes mix city experiences - like visiting the Guggenheim in Bilbao - with countryside exploration through wine country. The weather's typically perfect for walking tours through San Sebastian's old town and enjoying its famous food scene. Customer reviews highlight how much they appreciate the smaller group sizes on these tours, typically around 12-16 people, which allows for more intimate wine tasting experiences and easier restaurant bookings.

- Winter 2026 / 2027
Winter in Spain brings a different charm to the classic Andalucian route. Our travelers particularly enjoy the 5-day tours that start in Madrid and wind south, as the cooler temperatures make exploring much more comfortable. The Cordoba Mosque looks even more magnificent in winter light, while Seville's Santa Cruz Quarter feels especially cozy as you duck into tapas bars between sightseeing. What makes these tours work well in winter is the mix of indoor and outdoor activities - you'll explore Toledo's medieval streets but can warm up inside its Gothic cathedral, and the Alhambra's architecture is just as impressive when there's a chill in the air. Our customers mention how they appreciate having dinner included most nights, since restaurants can close earlier in winter months.

- Spring 2027
The 9 and 10-day Spanish routes really come into their own in spring; we've got the timing just right for longer walks and outdoor exploring. You'll kick things off in Madrid, wandering through Plaza Mayor in the evening light, then head south through Extremadura where Merida's Roman ruins are waiting. The nice thing about spring is you can take your time - lingering in Seville's Maria Luisa Park or spending a proper afternoon in Granada's Generalife Gardens when the flowers are out. Our customers love these spring dates but they've taught us to mention booking 4 months ahead since they fill up fast. If you're finishing in Barcelona you'll get perfect weather for exploring Gaudi's work, with plenty of time to wander Park Güell and take in the views from Montjuic.
