Budget Tours to Spain
What if every city offered something completely different? Spain manages that trick. Granada's Alhambra requires hours to explore properly, Seville's flamenco shows give you chills, and Barcelona's Gaudí buildings bend architecture rules. Madrid's Royal Palace impresses, check out Cordoba's Mosque-Cathedral, and Toledo packs centuries of history into narrow cobblestone streets. Explore how each region keeps its own flavor.

What people love about Budget Tours in Spain
- Absolutely Spain
Time was short in Barcelona. We ran… some hotels lack cleanliness. But overall great trip and good value. Good guides and driver. Excellent tpur compliance
- Madrid and Barcelona
Late in reviewing it but it was awesome. Loved the whole set up. The only snag was in the end when the airportt transfer for the day came an hour early and as we didnt get down on time, it left and we had to get another cab and pay for it even though the transfer was pre paid. However Tpur radar did refund the amount to me when I contacted them about it. The guides were awesome. The coaches were comfortable and the accomodation was good too. Made some good friends while on the trip.
- 8-Day Southern Spain from Madrid

What our customers ask about Budget Tours to Spain
When is the most affordable time to visit Spain on a budget tour?
Visit Spain during March-May or September-October to get the best value for your money. The weather stays mild and tourist spots are less crowded leading to better deals on hotels and activities. Tour booking data shows March and October are popular among budget travelers with 25 and 37 bookings. Prices climb significantly in July and August during peak season. What entrance fees should I budget for at major attractions in Spain?
Standard budget tours cover main sites like the Alhambra in Granada ($15) and Cordoba's Mosque-Cathedral ($12). Set aside $60-80 for extra attractions you might want to visit. Barcelona's Sagrada Familia costs about $30 while Madrid's Royal Palace runs around $15. A TourRadar traveler noted: "Most major sites were included but some optional activities like flamenco shows were extra at around 60 EUR."
What is the best value region to visit in Spain on a budget?
Budget travelers get good value in Andalusia particularly in Granada Cordoba and Seville. These cities blend rich culture with reasonable prices. Three-star hotels like Hotel Saray in Granada typically cost between $80-100 per night. A TourRadar traveler reported: "Andalusia was amazing value - the food was cheaper than Barcelona and Madrid and the included attractions like the Alhambra were highlights of the trip."
How much should I budget for optional activities on Spain tours?
Plan to spend $150-200 on extra activities during your tour. Popular choices include flamenco performances ($60-70) food tours ($50-80) and wine tastings ($40-60). A TourRadar traveler shared: "We paid around 60 EUR for the flamenco show with dinner and 40 EUR for a guided tour of Sagrada Familia." These activities are usually offered as add-ons letting you choose based on your interests and budget.
What type of accommodation can I expect on budget Spain tours?
Budget tours usually book 3-4 star hotels with good locations or transit access. You might stay at NOVOTEL Madrid City Las Ventas or Hotel Praga in Madrid or Catalonia Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. These properties offer private bathrooms basic amenities and often include breakfast. A TourRadar traveler mentioned: "The hotels were perfect for what we paid for but sometimes located too far from town." While most rooms include WiFi older hotels may have smaller spaces.
What are some tips for saving money on meals during budget Spain tours?
Your tour typically covers breakfast and some group dinners. For other meals look for "menu del dia" (daily specials) in smaller towns costing $10-15.
