India's Top Selling Golden Triangle India Tour w/ Meals and Sunrise Taj MahalMy wife and I recently completed the 5 day private golden triangle tour, and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The tours themselves as well as the 5 star hotels were great and the tour was fun, memorable, and informative. We both felt like we got to really experience the real India during those 5 days. From the beginning the service was excellent, our driver Danish picked us up directly from our hotel in New Delhi to take us to Agra. He was our driver for the entire 5 day tour, and he really made the experience very enjoyable and fun. From the beginning it felt like he was an old friend of ours, and we had such a fun time getting to know each other during the tour. He also took us to some local sites too after the tours for that day had concluded like local chai or local lassi shops. One minor critique was that his car was quite small (compact sedan) and we had a lot of luggage since we were on a long trip to India. I think that we either should have used a larger car to be more comfortable or an advance warning about the size constraints of the car would have been useful so we could have packed less. Our first tour guide, Nazim was excellent. He showed us around Agra for two days, taking us around the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, and Baby Taj. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and also took really great photos of me and my wife. It was like having our own private photographer at the Taj Mahal! After Agra, we went to Jaipur and stopped to see a palace along the way. Personally, I felt that the stop didn't add a lot to the experience especially since it was raining a lot and we had to walk barefoot through the mosque in the rain. Despite that though, it was still a good experience just not ideal given the weather. In Jaipur, our tour guide took us to several beautiful historical sites like the stepped well, Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, and Hawa Mahal to name a few. Like our other guides, he was a knoweledgeable localite who had many years experience doing tours so he knew his way around quite well. At the Hawa Mahal, he took us to a nearby cafe across the street so we could avoid the huge crowd and take much better photos. That kind of local knowledge made the experience great. In the latter half of the day, he also offered to take us around the city to wherever we would like, so we opted to have him show us through the local bazaar which was a fun cultural experience. Our last day was spent in New Delhi, and our guide there was Javed. He was a very personable and friendly guide that took us to Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, the Lotus Temple, Chandni Chowk, to name a few. Unfortunately, many of the government buildings in New Delhi were closed due to an ongoing protest, but our tour guide made the most of it and we still got to see many sites across the city. The hotel we stayed at in New Delhi was the Radisson Blu which was also a very nice 5 star hotel. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the tour experience. We felt that the tour's pacing was good as it allowed us ample time to see the various sites during the morning/afternoon, and then in the evenings we were able to go and explore the town on our own or with Danish driving us to places. All of the tour guides were knowledgeable localites who did a thorough job explaining the history of the places we visited. The hotels were all nice and comfortable as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in experiencing India and wants to see the Golden Triangle!
