Dempster Highway Tours & Trips

Picture Canada's most remote highway crossing the Arctic Circle. The Dempster runs 736 km from Yukon through Northwest Territories to Inuvik, consisting of gravel road, passing through tundra, crossing two mountain ranges, and ferrying rivers. You're seeing landscapes few people reach, including caribou herds, possibly bears, and midnight sun in summer. The highway's an adventure itself, and Dawson City and Inuvik bookend it. This is one special highway.

This company answered all my questions before the trip very quickly. Thanks to Karin. The Arctic Adventure was incredible for me. As a Canadian - the history, the First Nation communities, the scenery - stepping into the Arctic Ocean, being in Tuktoyaktuk, etc. I must mention our Tour Guide Leo. He did an amazing job of driving The Dempster under sometimes difficult circumstances. I felt very safe during our travels. Thanks to you, Leo.
