Generally things were pretty good. The hotels were just OK. The one in Paris was in a gritty area. They were clean but very average for 4 star. But maybe that’s what you get in Europe. The transfers were excellent.
7 Day France- Paris And Nice by Train including Monaco And VersaillesI traveled with only my teenage daughter, and do not speak French. We both had a great time. The tour company was very helpful.
5-Day Paris, Mont Saint-Michel AdventureWe did this tour as a couple in June and it was a great way to see Paris without being locked into a rigid group schedule. The Versailles visit was the highlight, the guide was knowledgeable and the skip-the-line access made a big difference given the summer crowds. The Seine cruise and Eiffel Tower on Day 2 were well organized. The semi-guided format suits us, you meet at the activity, enjoy it with a guide, then the rest of the day is yours. The hotel was centrally located which made getting around easy. Airport transfers were on time both ways. Would recommend for anyone who wants a bit of structure without losing the flexibility to explore on their own.
