So Provence did an excellent job planning our trip for us! They organized tours that immersed us in the flavor of Provence. Every tour leader was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable! They made sure we had every transportation connection.

Positives: the activities were great. We especially enjoyed the cooking class in aix and the Chateaux Nerthe wine tour and tasting. Negatives: A car is not a good idea in aix or avignon. We were surprised that we had to arrange a garage and pay an extra 80 euro in aix. The instructions for parking in avignon were not good. We got one block away from Les halles parking lot and couldn't get any further because the middle of the street barrier was up all over the city. We rerouted to Les italiens free lot, but even though we were one block from Les halles 40 minutes ahead of our tour time, we were 30 minutes late for the tour. This experience would have been much better with a train from Marseilles to aix and one or two day trips by car. We made a huge mistake and returned the car to marseille, but the train people were kind enough to let us on the train there.
