    There are no words that can accurately describe what an amazing trip this was. I have taken many adventures using Tourradar and all have been excellent, but this one really stands out.     This was my first trip through Tourradar and it did not disappoint. I got to see every part of Turkey that was on my bucket list.     What a fabulous tour! Every detail was taken care of: from transport and transfers, to lovely accommodation; delicious meals and a broad range of traditional Turkish experiences; fabulous places to visit, steeped in history, rich in culture and breath takingly beautiful! Each of the tour guides were friendly, personable and able to pass on their knowledge in such a way that was both informative and insightful. A good mix of free time was factored into the daily tours, allowing opportunity to explore further, or to just stop and immerse one’s self in the sights and sounds of each destination. Prior to arrival into, Istanbul we were contacted by Zerrin who did a marvellous job remaining in contact on a daily basis throughout the course of the tour, to keep us informed of every necessary detail. Zerrin was fabulous. Would highly recommend this tour!

You'll be in Istanbul when tulips bloom, then visit Gallipoli where spring adds extra meaning to those WWI memorials. Moving on to Ephesus, our guides show off the clever Roman engineering that kept the city comfortable in any weather. Cappadocia's cave churches and underground cities are just right to explore in spring, and many tours include that early morning balloon flight over the fairy chimneys.

  • Summer 2026

    Our popular 10-day summer routes through Turkey strike an ideal balance between cultural immersion and heat management. These well-crafted tours let you explore historical treasures, while adapting to warmer temperatures through smart scheduling. Beginning in Istanbul, you'll visit Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace in the early hours, then venture to Antalya where Duden waterfalls and Mediterranean cable car rides offer welcome respite from the sun. Swimming spots are woven throughout the journey, from the thermal pools of Pamukkale to secluded bays during gulet sailing excursions. A highlight for our guests is spending two full days in Cappadocia, where dawn balloon flights provide both crisp temperatures and exceptional visibility. The itinerary includes extended time in the coastal havens of Kusadasi and Izmir, perfect for exploring Ephesus during cooler periods and enjoying evenings by the sea.     Fall lets you really take in Turkey's highlights without fighting summer crowds. Our classic 7-10 day tours work beautifully in autumn, giving you proper time to explore Troy, Pergamon and also other ancient sites. The Magic Carpet route gets particularly good reviews - you see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in perfect light, then travel east through color-changing landscapes to Cappadocia where cool mornings make balloon flights extra clear. Several routes spend more time at Pamukkale, where autumn weather is ideal for exploring the white terraces and Hierapolis ruins. Our travelers tell us how the old Silk Road sections through Konya, Cappadocia and surrounding areas come alive with fall colors, making those longer travel days more interesting. From what our travelers tell us, Fez Travel stands out among Turkish tour operators - their guides Faruk and Aran consistently get mentioned by name for really knowing their stuff and making everyone feel welcome. Tour Altinkum is another solid choice; Kerem and his team handled the pandemic disruptions well, staying flexible and keeping communication clear throughout. If you're trying to decide between tour styles, I'd lean toward the smaller groups. Some of our customers who've done the larger bus tours with companies like Eskapas mentioned the quality can be hit or miss, and you might spend more time than you'd like on the bus between stops. The private and small group options tend to work better for most people - you get more attention from the guide and can move at a more natural pace. The way these companies adapted during Covid shows a lot about how they operate. Tour Altinkum was particularly good about working with travelers on rescheduling and refunds, which isn't something every company managed well during that time. Their local knowledge really came through when plans needed quick adjustments. Just keep in mind that while the bigger group tours are often cheaper, you're trading some of that personal touch and flexibility that makes the smaller tours special. It really comes down to what matters most for your trip.

  • Winter 2026 / 2027

    Winter in Turkey shows you a different side of this fascinating country. Our travelers love the 10-day cultural routes that begin in Istanbul before heading to Cappadocia, where snow adds extra magic to those famous fairy chimneys. The Turkish Breeze tour works particularly well in winter - you can explore Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace without the usual crowds, and those thermal pools at Pamukkale feel incredible when it's cool outside. Many routes include Ephesus, where our guides explain how this massive Roman city dealt with winter, from clever heating systems to covered walkways. Just bring some warm clothes for early starts, especially if you're planning that sunrise balloon ride over Cappadocia.
