Overall the tour was well organized. However it was not a guided group tour. I was instructed about my pickup times via WhatsApp and never saw a representative of city of Sultans. The daily tours were guided but only from pickup until drop off, only five other travellers I saw on two days, all the other days it was a new group. 4 offensive selling shows (ceramics, jewellery, carpets and leather) on five guided days was a bit too much for me.

10 day tour of turkey was well organized and very enjoyable. Zerin was responsive to any questions we had. We felt going to Antalya was something we could have missed as there wasn’t really any time there and it added 2 flights. So the 8 day tour would have been better in retrospect. It was wonderful having everything planned out so well. One complaint would be The lunches were the same every day which got tiresome. Lentil soup, chicken or beef kabob rice …..one day with leyla we had fish which was very good

If you're trying to decide between tour styles, I'd lean toward the smaller groups. Some of our customers who've done the larger bus tours with companies like Eskapas mentioned the quality can be hit or miss, and you might spend more time than you'd like on the bus between stops. The private and small group options tend to work better for most people - you get more attention from the guide and can move at a more natural pace. The way these companies adapted during Covid shows a lot about how they operate. Tour Altinkum was particularly good about working with travelers on rescheduling and refunds, which isn't something every company managed well during that time. Their local knowledge really came through when plans needed quick adjustments. Just keep in mind that while the bigger group tours are often cheaper, you're trading some of that personal touch and flexibility that makes the smaller tours special.
