The tour took in the sights I wanted to see and everything was well organised. However I incorrectly thought the two internal flights were included in the price and had to hurriedly book those flights myself after committing to the tour. It was there in the small print but I don’t understand why those flights were not included.

Wanderful Holidays gets consistently good feedback for how they handle all the details - from sorting out transport logistics and accommodation to keeping travelers well-informed throughout their trips.OneSeed really shines with their small-group treks. Their guides know both the popular trails and hidden spots, plus they've found some unique places to stay that you wouldn't typically find on standard tours. Our travelers particularly like how personal these trips feel, since you're not just following the crowd.Exodus and TourRadar sit somewhere in the middle. While many of their customers have good experiences, we've heard about some hiccups with communication and cases where the actual trip didn't quite match what was advertised. These aren't deal-breakers, but worth keeping in mind when you're choosing.I'd suggest steering clear of Unu Raymi Expeditions for now. Where to start your Patagonia trip
Most of our Patagonia journeys start from Buenos Aires which offers 24 different departure options throughout the season. El Calafate comes in as another popular kickoff point with 23 tour starts, while Puerto Natales - your gateway to Torres del Paine - gives you 15 different options to begin your trip. Ushuaia, Punta Arenas and some other cities round out the starting points with 9 and 6 tours respectively. Since prime spots fill up quickly, booking about 100 days ahead makes sense - this helps lock in your preferred dates and lodging, particularly during the busy summer months from December through February. The sweet spot for visiting falls between November and March when the weather's kinder and days stretch longer. Mid-November to mid-December is particularly nice with spring flowers blooming and fewer tourists around, plus you get great conditions for photos and hiking. While you can see the highlights in 7-10 days, many of our travelers stay longer to really sink into the wilderness experience and work around Patagonia's ever-changing weather patterns.
