10 Days in Argentina, incl. Buenos Aires and Patagonia
The 10-day Patagonian route features 3 nights each in Bariloche's lake district and El Calafate's glacier region. Highlights include Circuito Chico tour, Cerro Campanario ascent, and full-day Perito Moreno Glacier excursion.

- Days 1-3
Buenos Aires
Start in Argentina's capital by flying into Ministro Pistarini Airport. Book morning flights to avoid traffic delays. Take a city tour to get your bearings and visit La Boca's vibrant houses in the afternoon when the lighting is perfect for photos. Walk through San Telmo's cobblestone streets early before the crowds fill in. A recent visitor shared: "The Sunday antique market in San Telmo was a highlight - get there by 10 AM to really experience local life."

- Days 4-6
Bariloche
Fly two hours to the scenic Lake District. Take the "Circuito Chico" tour for incredible Andean views but bring layers because mountain weather shifts quickly. For the best views of lakes and peaks take an early morning chairlift ride up Cerro Campanario. If the weather looks good add a trip to Victoria Island. Book your stay near Centro Cívico to be close to the best chocolate shops and restaurants.

- Days 7-10
El Calafate
The Perito Moreno Glacier is the star attraction of your Patagonia visit. You'll drive 85km through stunning steppe landscape from El Calafate. Bring windproof clothing since the glacier creates its own weather patterns. Plan your glacier visit for afternoon hours when sunlight brings out the ice's blue colors. Schedule your departure flight after 2 PM on day 10 to have enough time for airport transfer.

10 Days in Argentina, incl. Buenos Aires and Patagonia
Ten days in Patagonia features 3 nights each in Ushuaia exploring Tierra del Fuego, El Calafate discovering Perito Moreno Glacier, and Buenos Aires. The itinerary includes Lago Escondido, Beagle Channel, and Los Glaciares National Park.

- Days 1-3
Buenos Aires
Start in Argentina's vibrant capital. Visit La Boca neighborhood early before 10 AM to avoid crowds and see the iconic Caminito street. Check out San Telmo's antique market if you're there on Sunday. Visit the elegant Recoleta area in late afternoon when it's cooler and stop by the famous cemetery where Eva Perón is buried. On day three, take a trip to the Pampas for an authentic gaucho experience. Bring light layers since mornings can be cold but afternoons warm up quickly. Wear long pants if you plan to go horseback riding.

- Days 4-6
Ushuaia
The flight to the world's southernmost city takes about 3.5 hours from Buenos Aires. Bring warm clothes for Tierra del Fuego National Park since the temperature can change by 20°F in one day. Take the Beagle Channel boat trip to see wildlife. Get a seat on the left side if you want good photos of Les Eclaireurs lighthouse. Take motion sickness pills before visiting Lake Fagnano if you get carsick. The road has lots of turns. A recent visitor shared: "The views of Lake Escondido from Garibaldi Pass were incredible, but bring a windproof jacket. The gusts up there can be fierce even in summer."

- Days 7-9
El Calafate
Fly 1.5 hours from Ushuaia to reach Los Glaciares National Park. Get to Perito Moreno Glacier right when it opens at 8 AM to see morning sunlight on the ice. Book the mini-trekking tour at least a day before since spots fill up fast. They give you crampons but make sure to wear strong waterproof boots. Book the Rios de Hielo boat trip ahead of time if visiting December through February. Pack warm clothes and seasickness pills since the lake gets rough. Keep your camera ready to catch the spectacular moments when ice breaks off at Spegazzini Glacier.

- Day 10
Return to Buenos Aires
10 Day Argentina Itinerary, incl. Buenos Aires and Patagonia
Southern Patagonia unfolds across 10 days, with 2 nights in Ushuaia at Altos de Ushuaia Hotel and 3 nights in El Calafate near Perito Moreno Glacier. The tour features Tierra del Fuego National Park and Los Glaciares National Park with expert guides and comfortable accommodations.

- Days 1-2
Buenos Aires
Start your journey in Argentina's lively capital after landing at Ezeiza International Airport. Schedule a late morning arrival to skip the worst traffic. Visit the colorful La Boca neighborhood in the afternoon, but note shops usually close around 5 PM. A recent visitor shared: "The morning city tour was perfect timing. We got to Recoleta Cemetery before the crowds and had time to really explore the incredible architecture."

- Days 3-4
Iguazu Falls
Take a 2-hour morning flight to Iguazu. Stay in Puerto Iguazu on the Argentine side. Visit Devil's Throat first thing for better photos and cooler temperatures. The Lower Circuit has lots of stairs but gives you the closest views. Pack a waterproof bag for your camera, especially if you're taking boat rides. Most people spend 6-7 hours seeing all three circuits.

- Days 5-6
Ushuaia
Fly 4 hours to the world's southernmost city. Weather can delay flights at the small airport, so plan extra time. Visit Tierra del Fuego National Park where weather changes quickly. Bring layers and rain gear. You'll find trails for all skill levels, from simple boardwalks to tough mountain tracks. The Beagle Channel boat tour offers great wildlife viewing.

- Days 7-9
El Calafate
This is your jumping-off point for Los Glaciares National Park and Perito Moreno Glacier. It takes about 80 minutes to drive from town to the glacier. Book the mini-trekking early in case bad weather forces cancellations. A recent visitor advised: "Get to the glacier viewing platforms by 9 AM. You'll hear the thunderous ice crashes better in the morning quiet."

- Day 10
Return to Buenos Aires
What people love about 10-day Patagonia tours
- 10 -Days of Unforgettable Exploration in Argentina
We were able to see many of Argentina's highlights with this tour. Every stop on this tour is spectacular and very memorable. It is a shared service so all tours were in Spanish and English. The guides were excellent, but had to juggle both languages for the guests. Even though this tour was pieced together to accommodate what we wanted to see, everything worked and we were always notified of when our transfers would be, scheduled tours would be taking place, and drivers were always waiting. Very good attention to details. This company went above and beyond when my husband's cell phone fell out of his pocket in the van on an early morning transfer. I thought it would be lost, but the driver found it, the company arranged for it to be taken to Buenos Aires and the next driver delivered it!! Now that is service!!
- 10-Day Argentina, Iguazu & Patagonia Tour From Buenos Aires
Amazing trip! Everything was perfectly organized, from the city vibes in Buenos Aires to the stunning views in Iguazu and Patagonia. The guides were great and the hotels were very comfortable. Highly recommended!
- The End of the World + El Chalten w/Bus (10 Days)
This was a great and well organised tour. Read the documentation clearly so you know what you need to manage yourself, versus what is organised for you. As long as you do that there will be no surprises. Communication from the agents before and during the trip was exceptional! The airport pick up and transfer to Chalten was efficient and the driver was really awesome, allowing us to stop for photos along the way! The hostel in Chalten (Rancho Grande) was simply superband although the agents didn't inform the place that breakfast was included, they were very accomodating when I showed them my booking voucher. It was great to have the free days there because all there is to do in Chalten is hiking and you can do whatever suits your fitness levels. The bus to Calafate was superb and they booked the best seat for me! The hostel in Calafate (Los Pioneros) was terrible, old and falling apart, especially the dorms. When I complained to the agent they immediately resolved it by moving me to a better room in a slightly newer wing of the hostel in a private room. It was stilll not great but was much better than the dorm and that was fine since I spent almost no time in the room with all the tours. But I do not recommend this place at all. The only good thing was that its walkable (20mins) to the bus station so I didn't have to take an overpriced taxi at 2am, but that's because its slightly outside the main town. Oh and the breakfast is a JOKE. Only supermarket bread and coffee. Not even cheese or ham or anything unless you pay extra for it. This should not even be considered as an included breakfast. The tour from Calafate to Torres del Paine was very long but very very enjoyable, with a lunch box included. Lots of time on the road but really great guide and bus that made it very interesting. The tour to Perito Moreno was pretty bad, the bus was old and rickety, it was raining outside and inside the bus too and we couldn't put our bags down on the floor! There was an unnecessary stop at a farm and there was not enough time at the glacier itself, especially if you did the boat ride. The guide was funny but did not add any value, did not tell us much other than what time to come back and where. Would be better off going there by yourself. The recommended tour on the free day which I booked myself was really incredible, great recommendation. The journey to Ushuaia was lonnng but the buses were very comfy and given the changeover and border crossing passport checks, you're not staying seated for very long periods of time. Hostel in Ushuaia (Yaghan) was nice, very centrally located and chilled. The boat tour to Beagle Channel was nice and worthwhile but the half day tour to the Tierra del Fuego national park was very average. It was so rushed with only 15-20min stops in the park. Again something which is better to do yourself rather than with a tour that spends ages picking up and dropping off people and waiting around.
