Our 8-day trip to Sri Lanka was absolutely amazing. The country offers a perfect mix of stunning landscapes, rich culture, wildlife, and beautiful beaches. Every destination had its own charm, and the itinerary was well-planned without feeling rushed. The food was delicious, the people were warm and welcoming, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Sri Lanka truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and well-rounded travel experience. We would love to visit again!

All in all, it was a great mix of nature and culture. Our tour guide, Sakun, was fantastic – informative, charming, flexible, helpful, and organized. I had many experiences I certainly wouldn't have had without the tour. These included learning how cinnamon and curry are made, as well as seeing wild elephants and monkeys in their natural habitat. However, there were also aspects I didn't like, particularly the way animals were treated. For one, during the safari tour in Yala, a herd of elephants was practically chased and surrounded by the safari jeeps. The elephants were clearly terrified, but the safari guides didn't seem to care in the slightest. The way the elephants were kept at the rehabilitation center was also very questionable. I would strongly recommend excluding these parts of the tour.
