Our 5 day trip was wonderful! Dan the Man was our tour guide and he was great! He was so knowledgeable about everything in Ireland. I loved that he had songs and funny stories about every place we went. He called us a family! The trip was very well planned and we got to see a ton of stuff! I highly recommend this tour and Dan the Man!

The guides, Dormod and Brian, were terrific. 5 stars there. The small tour experience was fantastic; what a great group of people! On the other hand, the small seats in the Mercedes vans were too small for our larger/taller frames and it took some getting used to. The accommodations were so-so and the reason for 4-stars rating. One hotel in Cork was depressing, smelled like a sewer back-up in one area and located down some sketchy allies, the B & B where we stayed three nights was a bit tired and had old time mattresses and flat pillows. On a positive note, Wet and Happy was out tour company through the booking company Tour Radar. They have a wonderful staff and a righteous business plan to give back to the environment. Honestly, I would do it again. Dispute the negative reviews in the accommodations and the van, everything else wiped all the minuses out.

Overall the tour ran very smoothy, the accomodation was good to excellent, as were the breakfasts. The variety of things to do and see was exceptional, always very well organised, with talks on safety and procedures to get the best out of each days Itinerary. Our two tour guides were perfect they were always their to help with all our needs, good places to eat ect ect. With lots of information given about where we were,or passing through, including many sometimes humorous tales about Ireland’s numerous myths and legends. I would highly recommend the Overland Tour and thank Mathew and Rowan who made the tour into an very happy unforgettable experience.
