I enjoyed the trip overall. I would have skipped on the first dayand replaced it with a visit of Teothiuacan instead. I did not like the visit of the floating market and the visit to the basilica. We arrived late at the basilica and we could not visit the inside of the church aince it closed at 16h50. I would have enjoyed more time in some places and hotels with a more central location. I might have to return to have a more in depth experience of Guanujato, Guardalajara and Puebla since I could have spent a few says in each place. I did not enjoy the bed at Hotel Casa Blanca. It was hard like ciment. Both guides were good. Bus driver was a pro.

Mexico City is a city that never sleeps and is beautiful in so many ways. We stayed at the Royal Reforma Hotel. Our first day we cruised down the canals of Xochimilco as we listened to mariachi bands, ate corn, drank tequila and bought jewelry. We then visited Coyoacán and its unbelievable market that had everything from fresh meat to prepared food to clothes. The next day we had a long but exciting day with our guide Jose Luis visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe and the pyramids of Teotihuacan. We climbed the pyramid of the moon and got as close as we could to the pyramids of the sun and the feather snake. Teotihuacan was definitely the highlight of the day. Our third day we spent with guides Gaby and Felipe, such great people, passing by the Palace of Fine Arts and walking down Avenida Madero. We visited the beautiful “House of Tiles” or Casa de Los Azulejos. We wanted to ride the subway so we had a chance to do that. We spent the afternoon in the Anthropology Museum. So much to see that you could spend days there. We had dinner at Bellini, the world’s largest revolving restaurant and had the most amazing food and views of Mexico City. We were then taken to Plaza Garibaldi where we were entertained by a mariachi band along with talented vocalists. A beautiful way to finish off our tour. With respect the hotel, the location was great for our planned activities, the staff were amazing and the roof top pool area and dining was great. We spent Valentines dinner up there. The only thing I thought could have been better was the state of the carpet in our room. It was very old and stretched with numerous visible stains. Luckily we did not spend much time in our room. Other than that we loved our tour and would definitely recommend it to others.

But I have one concern, when I arrived from US, nobody came to airport to pick us up. I was waiting for 4 hours at the airport. Finally hotel shuttle came to pick us after continuous follow ups.

Best time to visit Mexico
- Spring 2026
Spring sees Mexico bursting with energy, particularly during Easter festivities. Many tours start from Mexico City with its lively streets and continue to Oaxaca's bustling markets and mezcal producers. Our travelers love exploring Sumidero Canyon and Agua Azul waterfalls this time of year when the water's perfect for swimming. The weather's ideal for active mornings at archaeological sites followed by relaxed afternoons in colonial cities like Merida, Valladolid and also Campeche. Several routes include watching flamingos at Rio Lagartos and visiting the seven-colored lagoon at Bacalar when spring brings migrating wildlife.

- Summer 2026
Summer fills Mexico with cultural festivals, and our tours make the most of it. Routes from Mexico City feature visits to San Pedro Tlahuac where ancient farming practices thrive during the wet season. Our guests particularly enjoy how the tours balance indoor activities like cooking classes and museum visits with early archaeological site exploration before the day heats up. Several options center on the Yucatan Peninsula, where you can refresh in cenotes between Maya ruins, experience Merida's evening cultural events and also enjoy the coastal areas. Summer itineraries add extra water activities like boat trips to Holbox Island and swimming in Bacalar Lagoon's brilliant blue waters.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Our autumn tours linking Mexico City to the Yucatan Peninsula follow well-crafted routes that consistently earn praise from our travelers. The journey begins in the capital, flowing south through Oaxaca's bustling markets and mezcal distilleries before entering Chiapas. Autumn brings perfect water levels at Sumidero Canyon and Agua Azul falls, where swimming conditions hit their peak. Local culture comes alive this time of year, with San Cristobal's indigenous villages hosting traditional fall ceremonies. The mild weather suits morning explorations of archaeological ruins paired with laid-back afternoons discovering colonial architecture in Merida, Valladolid and also Campeche. Many travelers appreciate watching flamingo flocks at Rio Lagartos or spotting migratory birds at Bacalar's seven-colored lagoon. These tours stand out for balancing guided Maya site visits with authentic local moments - from cooking in family kitchens, to meeting artisans in their workshops, and learning mezcal techniques in small-batch distilleries.

Winter opens up fantastic possibilities across Mexico's diverse regions, with tours linking Yucatan's ancient sites and natural spaces proving especially popular. Several well-planned routes begin in Mexico City and move south through Oaxaca before reaching the peninsula. Our customers really enjoy the crisp, cooler days for pyramid climbing at Chichen Itza and taking refreshing dips in the crystal-clear cenotes near Valladolid. Tours passing through Chiapas connect you with indigenous village life around San Cristobal during peak ceremonial season. The coastal portions include time in Playa del Carmen and also Tulum, where winter conditions are just right for mixing beach days with cultural visits.
